Are there any decent cases people are using for this? I still can't decide whether to bother or not.

For some reason or another I almost always end up buying 2 cases for a device. Happened with the Nexus 6, Nexus 7 and iPhone 5S.

I picked up a N6 in January. First case I bought was the Spigen Nexus 6 Case Ultra Hybrid which was just under £6. Nice protection around the sides, big cutouts for headphones, very light and clear back cover. What annoyed me was the button covers on the side were a bit 'spongy' and the clear case being smooth wasn't great for grip. In fact I nearly dropped the phone on the second day becuase of this.

So two weeks ago I ordered the Spigen Nexus 6 Case Neo Hybrid which is very similar to the first case but includes separate buttons and a rubberised back cover that is much better to grip and hold on to. £15 so much more expensive but I love the case.

Would recommend Spigen cases.

Thanks for the replies. I have a leather wallet that I've been using with my iPhone 6+ when I go out on the bike, and it's too big, so I'm hoping it will be fine for the Nexus, since it's only to chuck in my bag. The cases I'm looking at both Spigen and Ringke, but I'm really not a fan of clear backs. I find they just get mucky/scratch easily and then just look really scruffy. Unless these don't?

Very tempted with that price on Amazon France, do you just use your regular Amazon account on there and the bank does the currency conversion?

Edit: Bought it anyway :D

I went for the Spigen Perfect Fit/Thin Fit (Smooth Black) case, as I don't like the added bulk of these hybrid/rubber cases.

It probably doesn't provide the same level of protection, but I'm only looking to protect it from scratchers to be honest.

Ordered a new tempered glass yesterday, as i made a mess of installing my Ultimate Shield TG, wasn't happy with the coverage either to be honest. I've gone for another TG, but this one is from iVoler, only 1 review on amazon, but that states better coverage, so hopefully i'll make a better job on installing it.

I've decided to unlock/root my nexus 6, just going to use the tool kit by Wugfresh on XDA. Is it worth installing a custom rom, or 5.1 yet?

That thin case is the one I'm looking at now. The phone is sat waiting for me at home now, so I think I'll give it a play tonight before I decide whether to bother with a case or not. Has there been much reports of the back scratching easily?

If I could find a decently priced network here to be able to use the GN6 I would get one. I'm not paying out for AT&T or Verizon's rates though.. it's like a second mortgage lol.

Am v interested in an n6 again.

When I had one on release it was too big and the performance was sub par to me.

It seems 5.1 has remedied this. In particular read/write speeds seen sorted.
