I have N6 arriving tomorrow. After being a Note user for 3 generations I downsized to a Z3 and after 4 months it still feels too small.

I also blame AndroidAndy's videos for making me choose the N6 over the N4 :)

Not sure which screen protector to buy. Over on XDA there doesn't seem to be a favourite recommended one. Are you guys using one?

I dunno I still feel it takes the shine of the design. In certain places in the middle east people leave the bubble wrap or pay for bubble wrap to be fitted onto cars to do the same thing. :)

I've never ever used a screen protector and never had a scratch on my screen. I just don't get the need for them unless you are dumb and keep your phone in the same pocket as your keys :p

I had an ultimate shield TG protector on for a few weeks, but the coverage was too small and i made a mess of installing it due to bits of dust.

I then ordered a iVoler TG protector of amazon, as it had better coverage and was only £5.99 at the time. I'm happier with this one, coverage is much better and i made a better job of fitting it.

The problem with the iVoler though is that the coverage is probably 0.5mm too much on the sides, so as the screen starts to curve away the protector doesn't quite stick down properly.

I really couldn't stand to use a pouch or flip cover type case, I've had both before and they're more hassel than they're worth in my eyes. The TG protector doesn't look great to be honest on the N6, but i pretty much forget its here most of the time.

I'm contemplating getting rid of my thin plastic Spigen case for a bit. How do the sides of this phone hold up to being damaged?

I used CF root.

You need SDK tools installed, google USB driver and unlocked boot loader etc.

I received my N6 yesterday and followed a few guides on YouTube but then found the all in one guide on XDA. Let me know if you get stuck as its all still fresh my mind.

Cheers Mujja. My SDK is installed and tested and ready to go for tomorrow.

Did you go with CWM or TWRP?

You're getting a Nexus 6 now? What happened to the Samsung love?

Yep - I dislike Samsung phones really, it's their unbeatable hardware that makes me stick with them. But their launch stock of 128GB sucks so I'm gonna give the Nexus a try.

OLED + Stock LP will be nice. Plus that Moto design.
