The place I got mine from now only has a 64GB version for £319. :(

how are you finding the size of the Nexus 6?

i tried to like the on ei had but just could not get used to the size, and this is was coming from a Note 4 (perfect size imo)

Certainly a lot of phone for the money!

I quite like the feel in the hand and it isn't as big as I thought, though I'm obviously not disputing that it is a large phone :)

IMHO it has a similar footprint to the Note 4, though it is ever so slightly bigger.

For the price I paid I am very happy and as someone who changes phones every three to four months, this will certainly last me until my next upgrade lol.

Mine should be here tomorrow hopefully, will be a 'small leap' up in size from the Z3 Compact that I've been using for the last 6 months...

What's the general consensus of setting these up now?
- Unlock bootloader (which invokes wipe)
- Update the latest 5.1.1
- Root if required

Is that about right? I know there's a new DP of Android M due soon (well, overdue as it is) so might stay on official until that drops.

Any suggestions on must-do things with the N6?

No need to stay official really - there'll be a stock rooted rom in no time.

I'd root and install Franco kernel as it has some nice tweaks such as screen colour/WB adjustment, haptic feedback adjustment and undervolting etc.

Hey, yes, it came with the stock Motorola charger, which I assume is the turbo charger judging by the rate at which it charges the N6.

Mine was advertised though as supplied in original box/accessories, so perhaps double check.

'In original box' mine says. Its been dispatched so I guess I'll find out tomorrow! Sad but I'm actually pretty excited.

How warm does the N6 get when using the turbo charger? I've got a Moto X 14 and gets very warm. It gets up to 45c and sometimes a little warmer, if you use it whilst charging. Charging rate slows as it approaches 80% full and battery cools somewhat. Very useful for getting some charge into the battery quickly.

Yes fast charging causes a fair bit of heat on all phones that support it. I only use it when I need to and that is hardly ever.

Same here. I use when I need some charge quickly. I have a couple of Quick Charge 2 12v vehicle chargers and although the battery gets warm it isn't as warm as the mains one. I always charge battery overnight with a standard charger. I'm not overly worried as it's not like I'll keep the phone over 2 years and probably less. Maybe only as long as the new Nexus 5 later this year if rumoured specs are correct

I see. I also slow charge overnight with an old 0.7A Samsung S2 charger.

Quickcharge on a portable power bank is very handy I must say.

Only really annoying thing I've found with the Nexus 6 is the screen going a pinky tinge colour when on low brightness (I have adaptive brightness enabled).

Other than that, a nice upgrade from my Note 3. Will find it extremely difficult going back to a non Nexus device though. Stock Android is lovely and super smooth. I've not encountered any lag or slowdown.
