Stuck it on gumtree for a decent price as I've managed to resist throwing it at something hard, going to try a G4 or something like that.

Bit harsh selling it on guntree if its faulty. I would be straight back hammering your door down if you sold me a duff phone.

Yeah I don't feel great about it I must admit. I got it from Amazon and this is already my second one. I'll probably just have to bite the bullet and get something else when funds allow and then just use this thing as a beater. I see what you're saying though, I'd not be pleased either and I only ever sell from my home for peace of mind. 99% of the time it's a dream phone but it's so frustrating when one of the issues works it's way to the surface.

I can't sell my mbp for the same reason, damn thing restarts all the time. Believe it or not I really look after my gadgets, too!
 
My N6 has some issues with Facebook and messanger....those 2 apps drain more battery then screen does...have un-installed both then install back and still same issues....
One I get the PC back up and running might try to factory reset it again :(

Just send back to Amazon and get a new one.

Turn off those chat heads in Facebook messger and just close Facebook after you use it. As in swipe it away. Or the Facebook web page works pretty good on a n6 screen

Had no problems in past... Have since last 2 updates...
And I do close messanger chat every time.

Will try swiping them away as well
 
Looking forward to flashing a Marshmallow rooted ROM.

Does Franco usually get a kernel update out quickly after a major OS updates? or is it a matter of weeks?

Would Amazon even have anything to do with it after I already sent one back? I honestly didn't sleep that night that I was waiting for an email to say they'd got it back, I had that £400-odd cloud looming over me as they'd sent the new one first and given me a week or so to get it back to them. Reckon they'll do that again then? I'll give it a smash, they can only say no and third time lucky one supposes.

Edit: gone through returns and it's only giving me a repair option.

This is probably the first phone I've kept longer than 6 months. I still really like using this and have had no issues with any updates. I was starting to think my battery life was shorter after the last update but I also downloaded a couple proggies that liked to constantly run in the background.

My wife however actually is getting less battery life on hers. Odd.

I seem to recall reading that he was working on it through the development preview already, so doubt it'll be long.

I'm more concerned about how long it will take to get xposed.

Also try greenifying Facebook and for battery drain issues.

Ok problem is still there. Phone just turned itself off a few minutes ago. When I try to turn it on it shows me the low battery symbol which I know to be rubbish as I've barely used it today.

When I plug the charger in the phone will turn on but then optimises 117 apps. It's just finished that and was on 57% battery which is clearly no where near low enough for the phone to turn itself off and to show the no battery sign.

What can I do now? Thinking I need to wipe phone and start again. Could be worth rooting this time round?

I just hope 6.0 isn't a buggy mess. I reckon I'm losing a solid hrs screen on time from the radio bug at present.
 
So on stock LP I kept getting random reboots when ambient display was activated.

Just flashed the latest Chroma, and ambient display doesn't work at all - does it work for anyone else on Chroma?

[edit] Toggled on and off a few times, and now works :p let's see if the random reboots continue...

Any one had issues with auto rotate not working. It just stopped wording on mine so now webpages, YouTube etc won't rotate with the phone into landscape. I've reset the cache and its still the same. Wanted to see if there's an answer before I reset back to default.
