Well my wife N6 just stopped working. No power at all. Sent to Motorola and was told it was no repairable .... And the device was 11 days past the warranty period.

After lots of arguing and phone calls they have returned the phone broken with "bad luck"

Gutted.... Expected more!

Pretty poor really. I had a faulty PS3 out of warranty. I couldnt find a recipt of purchase either. In the end they accepted a log of purchases on an online account from where i purchased it. They replaced it free of charge. Even posted me an SD card I left in the old one. Was very impressed with Sony for that.

Sell the phone for spares or repairs get abit of cash for it, then buy her something that offers a 2 year warranty.

I am still fighting with them. If you use twitter they act very quickly and try to sileince you.

I know a warranty has a time stamp. I just expect a company to be a little flexible or help you out. Split the costs / refurb or at least be a little understanding. Bugs me that euorpe get 2 year wareanty and we don't.

Moto still not playing balls. Gutted really as phone should last longer than a year and a few days. Written to head office but not holding out much luck.

This will be my last moto device I ever purchase. Shocking customer services. Just not prepared to help at all

It's out of it's warranty period, I'd be a bit annoyed they aren't willing to help but saying it's the last device you'll ever buy from them is a bit over the top. Have you had many devices replaced after the warranty has ended?

We are talking days past warranty. And yes apple repaired 3 of my devices over the years outside of warranty. 2 for free and 1 and reduced cost. Also of I had purchased of the play store I believe Google would have helped.

I just think it's poor. They would not even quote to repair

I expect more. At least give me some options not charge me £14 to post it back.

The sale of goods act states items should last a reasonable amount of time. If you buy a 50p torch then dont cry when it packs up. But a £450 items should last more than 372 days.

The mainbaord died which was out of my control.

Agreed, I certainly think you have a point and they really should help out. Not sure I would swear off all their devices ever again. Mind you, did I see recently there wont be any more Motorola phones? They will be Lenovo... you have a get out clause ;)

Ha ha true. But for me I will avoid them if I can. Same reason I would rather pay an extra £50 to get the 6p from the play store rather than cpw

That was cleared up, Motorola will be branded as Moto. Moto branding is not going away. I was like WTH when I heard, but thankfully they aren't that stupid to replace Motorola with Lenovo branding.

Where did you buy it from? Go after them under the sale of goods act instead.

Had my Nexus 6 since March and it now has significantly noticable screen burn where the black bar is at the bottom. Screen is pretty poor overall tbh, strong yellow tint at across the bottom half :(

Love the device itself but might have to switch to something else soon I think.

Hi guys,

Thinking about upgrading my aging Nexus 4 to a N6 as my N4's battery life is awful now and I kinda want more storage and a better camera (especially front facing).

Depending on a few things I may get a N6 or a OnePlus X

So questions:

How is the front facing camera on the N6? Any better than the N4 one? They are both 2MP I think.

Is battery life good? Enough to last at least a day with moderate use?

How much would I be looking to pay for a 32gb and 64gb one? I would prefer a 64gb one if not too expensive. I don't mind waiting a while for some deals to come up also.

Thanks :)

if you still interested in the nexus 6, its available here for £310

PM for a 15% discount code and it'll make it under £265 for the blue 64GB

Ha, I've just tested the front camera for the very first time, and it's pretty terrible indoors under house lighting. Probably only half decent outdoors in good lighting - so not great.

Ah well - I can live with it. The back camera looks good tho. I still think it's too good to pass up for £265. As long as the battery life is decent. Although I'm not 100% sure about the size of it but I think I will learn to like it, just not expecting to be able to use it one handed, which is fine :P

Gonna PM you now!
