I think you have to press power again or volume up I can't remember it has been ages since I used stock recovery.

That was happening when I tried to boot into recovery.

I ended up flashing back to stock via ADB. All seems OK now.

We are talking days past warranty. And yes apple repaired 3 of my devices over the years outside of warranty. 2 for free and 1 and reduced cost. Also of I had purchased of the play store I believe Google would have helped.

I just think it's poor. They would not even quote to repair

I expect more. At least give me some options not charge me £14 to post it back.

The sale of goods act states items should last a reasonable amount of time. If you buy a 50p torch then dont cry when it packs up. But a £450 items should last more than 372 days.

The mainbaord died which was out of my control.

If the mainboard died, I think you might have a case under the Sales of Goods Act. That isn't wear and tear and it should last longer than 1 year.

I think a judge would share that view if you went to the small claims court. You would need to claim against whoever sold it to you, not Motorola.

Flashed chroma yesterday and Franco kernel, battery life is looking okay so far on 53% after taking it off charge at 5.30 this morning neally 3hrs SOT atm but I've had Spotify on for just over 6hrs.

Anyone know if you can get rid of the navigation bar only on the home screen? I can only seem to remove it all together, I have no use for it on home screen as I have gestures set. I'm using nova launcher(prime) if that helps.

I'm getting ridiculously good battery life on Chroma/Franco combo. Took it off charge at half 9 this morning. Now on 42% and 4h13m screen on time and over an hour of voice calls. Awesome.

This is on wifi all day so I'll see how it goes on mobile data.

Anyone else notice that their Nexus 6 is getting all laggy now? I have to clear all the apps and restart the phone and its ok for a little while but soon starts to lag again.

Totally agree with that. Chroma is decent too one of the few ROMs thats stable & isn't bloated with stupid things.

2 weeks later still no Nexus 6, Still no contact from SBE & Motorola support have been a bit crappy to say the least.

Last I heard

"We are in contact with the repair centre and as soon as we have an update I will contact you immediately.

Thank you for your understanding."

3 days ago....... I will never purchase Moto again after this. If there is one thing Apple do good that is customer services.

That is ridiculously bad service. Sorry to hear that. I'd be on the phone to them daily for an update and then escalating it. Have you messaged them on Twitter? It's just plain unacceptable.

Yeah I've been on at them on twitter, email etc. Just not phone because they charge an absolute bomb.

Finally got a letter yesterday from SBE they want £76 to repair it lol.

Very poor customer services. Shame really because apart from that they make nice phones.

Nah not under warranty apparently because it was physical damage according to SBE. No idea how it is physical damage though!
