Still having weird GPS issues... I was doing some motorway driving this weekend and it would randomly jump to a parallel road or exit ever once in a while... Kind of annoying!

Restart seems to solve it for a while, then back to being dodgy!

Yes, I have done a full wipe. No impact on things.

It doesn't seem to be app specific. However, I do get the occasional error saying Facebook has stopped working. I've a hunch that is the likely culprit.
 
Sooooooo, I just shattered my screen :'(

What are my options? Would it just be cheaper to get a new phone than to get the screen replaced?

Dang... Should I just buy a new one?

The screen is working fine, but the proximity sensor is boned I think... Screen turns off and stays off when I start a call.

Bootloader is unlocked, so I guess I could install twrp then make a backup image? Cba to set up a new phone from scratch...!

How much can you get a new/used N6 for?

I don't think you can transfer a Nandroid between handsets due to EFS/IMEI. AFAIK.

But a Titanium backup of apps and data will be fine.
 
So looks like a new one would be $300, and a repair direct from Moto would be $175 + unknown time without phone...

Soo annoyed with myself, I'd gotten the phone up and running perfectly without any desire to change phones/upgrade, sigh :( horrible timing as well, I am moving to another city tomorrow!

Quick Google suggests I might be able to transfer a Nandroid backup... will ask on XDA or some thing to make sure!

Not really tbh... I was pretty happy just cruising along with the N6. I was probably going to wait it out and see what the next round of Nexii brought to the table (HTC again?).

Although, I am probably going to get an iPhone SE for work :p
 
Yeah same here. I still love the Nexus 6 but I want a better camera and a fingerprint sensor.

I hope this year's Nexus delivers a properly solid package.
 
My battery just seems to be draining this past few day for no apparent reason. I've got the April OTA but can't install due to custom recovery, and I run with non-encrypted bootloader so waiting for Wugfresh to update - cant imagine that would drain the battery?

Edit - turns out it was the Outlook app, it must have had an update, was using 65% of battery since last charge, never even used the app or configured it lol - oh well

Something is up with my phone. The camera Ap has become incredibly slow and laggy, especially if using HDR. This afternoon there were blue and green lines on the screen while using the camera but the photos are fine.
Phone about to die or should I do a factory reset and start again?
 
I had a laggy cam app when I updated to latest version. Crashed a lot too. I rolled back to previous version.


Try clearing the app data and cache.

I was just about to post about this...

My phone is totally stock (started from factory MMB29X), not rooted, bootloader locked.

I noticed there are now multiple versions of the factory images again - did they switch back from having a unified ROM? I wonder if the phone has downloaded the "wrong" OTA update?
