For anyone having the same problem as I had, I ended up sideloading the OTA image (available from Google here), and it now works fine.

Will see what happens when the next update rolls around!

Had to factory reset my n6 as in last few days it got too laggy and today media server started to drain battery with no reason...
Hopefully reset will fix it...

Due an upgrade soon. I'm unsure what to upgrade to. Nothing I've seen is really blowing me away, I'm nearly tempted to stick to the Nexus 6 for another 12 months....

I want to keep the Nexus 6 also but I've started getting the Photos has stopped error every 5 mins. It's very annoying as it kills any current calls and crashes running apps when it occurs.

Did a factory reset yesterday to try to fix it and it started happening again soon after all the apps were restored.

Same here I don't really need to move on from the Nexus 6. I love the size of this phone.

I just want a better camera and a finger print reader. I'll see what the new nexus is like but I'm not happy that it's going to be 5.5".

According to reddit, it has been postponed for the 6 due to a bug.

Latest official release is 6.0.1 (MOB31E)

Still like my nexus 6. Great screen, speakers, custom ROMs.

On the other hand Battery life not that good anymore and am getting bored of it. Camera always sucked though.

Not sure what to go for next or keep this?

Do like the s7 edge but not sure about speakers also bit pricey. Never will go iPhone and not too hot on the xperias anymore.

I have the s7e in my possession for a few weeks. overall I prefer the N6 due to bigger screen, much better speakers and stock Android.

The S7E's speaker is woeful in comparison. The pluses are much better camera, fingerprint sensor, brighter screen and a little speedier (nothing too noticeable tho as the N6 is till quite fast).

Wait for the new Nexus/Pixel IMO.

Just got one of these today. My Xperia Z3c broke and is off for repair. Had the opportunity to buy an N6 at a really good price and figured I'd see what the other end of the smartphone scale is like.

So far, I give it a thumbs up. Aside from the fact it's impractically oversized
