It's not always as smooth as that for Apple devices. Plenty of people have extensive waits for iphones. Apple are better with launches though of course.

Nexus 6 launch isn't that bad in the UK though is it? Plenty of devices have announcements then a month or so wait, which is what we should be expecting here...

Google haven't actually confirmed the Nov 18 preorder and Dec 1 release for the UK though have they? That's what annoys me most, google have been pretty much silent throughout all of this. If they had just said pre orders will start at xx:xx on this date, with retail availability from this date right from the beginning, most people would be a lot happier.

Better than no announcement and then silently opening up for pre-orders for 30 seconds.

That's not really what Google is - that's just a sideline which is helping with their actual 'purpose'.

Apparently they're not allowed to publish anything other than initial thoughts etc. until its official release. For some reason only some of the reviewers mention this, and others just make it seem like they cannot do a proper review rather than saying that they're simply not allowed to!

Clove have priced the Nexus 6 32GB at £499 and 64GB at £549 with shipping around late Nov - early Dec which isn't too bad considering that the phone is top in terms of specs.

I expect things to begin to heat up very soon here in the UK. As mentioned earlier, the embargo on reviews in the US on the Nexus 6 is lifted tomorrow. AT&T will begin taking pre-orders tomorrow. Sprint will launch the Nexus 6 on 14 November for delivery later in November: 2 year plan of $ 0 down and $ 29 per month for 24 months: $ 696.

Let the bun fight begin!

Yup I wish they'd hurry up I can't use the power button on my S4 at all now without it sticking on and causing issues like it turning off and sticking in a boot loop!
