I've decided on a different phone, I've just ordered a Sony Z2 (Purple) brand new, for £284.99 from O2, it'll be here tomorrow, its 95% the phone I wanted but at 50% of the cost, so happy with that :)

I'll hold on to see what's around next year, Sony Z4 etc...?

I'll still be really interested in seeing what you guys think of the Nexus 6, and TBH, the bigger screen is the thing I'll miss most, I'm used to the Note 2, Note 4, Z Ultra, so hopefully 5.2" wont be too much of a shock? :p

Little bit naughty. They should be doing a zero value authorisation on the card at the time of ordering and then capturing the funds 2 days before shipping if the date of the pre order is not set in stone

lol, its better than the Sony Z Ultra I had before and that was ok, so I'm hoping it'll be fine :)

I did like the look of the Z3 screen but its a lot more expensive and also some things I prefer on the Z2? You pays yer money and yer takes yer choice :)

I can't see many other phones for that price brand new that I'd like and I don't really like 99% of phones available at the moment, so I'm gonna hold out til something sweet comes along :)

Gumtree is always my first try, face to face, cash only.

After a week I often then calculate an eBay price that will give me almost the same money (eBay 10% and PP 3% of sale price) and stick a Buy It now another £10-£20 above that, but allow offers and see what comes in.

eBay is generally much easier if you cover yourself properly (very honest ad, video the device fully before sending and keep serial numbers and such) but they take a hefty chunk of your sale for themselves.

Fair do's mate, can't do without that awesome 4G. Had it since Jan on EE and it's been such a big improvment over 3G. Makes using the internet on my phone so much better when away from Wifi compared to before.

For most of Europe actually ;)

I think what happened is that the phone began as a Chinese-only phone (as OnePlus is Chinese and their parent company, Oppo, is also Chinese). Oppo got shown it and said they should release it worldwide.

They didn't do a lot of research into the EU market and basically released it unchanged.
