First thing i noticed is how small and light it feels without being too small.

That's why I went back. The 6 was a brick and I felt like I could see it in my pocket at all times - then running it was just to big and weighty for my running belt / short pockets.

I always have to manually check to get mine but yeah came through Monday as expected.

Battery life has definitely improved - lost only 1% overnight two nights on the trot- used to be 4-5%

Anyone got the magic eraser working and the photos app updating ?

I followed a guide and installed the pixel 6 photos APK which worked fine with magic eraser,...but then the photos app update became available and it removed it. In my head I was hoping the feature would remain but I guess not??

Dropped my pixel 5 on a gravel path in France. Cracked screen. Cheapest I can find is £160 for a repair....

How bad? Isn't your battery going too? Maybe Google can sort the battery for you, and the screen will magically be fixed at same time..

Also, odd way to boast about being in France

Does anyone else have issues with the fingerprint unlock? Mine works once or twice then I have to clean it even though there is no dirt on it.

Yeah, My one is quite intermittent especially compared to my older pixel 2.

It's so annoying, I love the phone but it doesn't work more often than it does and it's pushing me towards getting rid.

Its seems a lot more prone to moisture on the finger tips compared to the P2 anyway. I wouldn't say its horrendous but does get annoying!

But it's the same what people have said before with every finger print reader on rear. When they get a new phone, they say how accurate the reader is, then after 2 years, they say how poor it is. Something causes them to be less reliable (prob dirt) but I can see why manufacturers have moved away from rear ones. Screen finger print readers are clearly better for this at least.

But it's the same what people have said before with every finger print reader on rear. When they get a new phone, they say how accurate the reader is, then after 2 years, they say how poor it is. Something causes them to be less reliable (prob dirt) but I can see why manufacturers have moved away from rear ones. Screen finger print readers are clearly better for this at least.

No case, I've had a few of the Nexus and Pixel phones with rear fingerprint scanners and have never had an issue before.
