I've never used it, but keep meaning to!
Does anyone use the Google VPN?
I did have a look at it as it comes with Google One, to be fair it works, is fast enough but is limited. You won't be changing countries on it (from what I've experienced) as it essentially acts as a local VPN to protect your IP. So if you're in the UK you'll still be showing as a UK location.Does anyone use the Google VPN?
Try a reboot.Battery life has tanked for me this week, today I'm barely at 3hrs SOT and down to 28% battery, phone has also been feeling warm, performing worse than my 3 year old 5.
Haven't left the house so wifi all day, very strange.
Need to be able to remove that stupid search bar as well. The Pixel Launcher prepares a toggle to let you turn off the 'At a Glance' widget
The Pixel Launcher is adding support for turning off the At a Glance widget, as has been discovered in the latest Android 14 beta.9to5google.com
Try a reboot.
Could well be a rogue app. What's the battery stats say. This seemed to improve it yesterday, ridiculous really why am I having to reboot my phone to sort this.
I've also turned off 5g for good measure, will see how that fares next time im out and about.
wow, didn't know that search bar was forced.Need to be able to remove that stupid search bar as well.
I have never used it.
Oh wow, I use it to launch my apps or search for stuff. I use it every day multiple times!Need to be able to remove that stupid search bar as well.
I have never used it.
Could well just be bad luck. Mine is still fine and so was my 6 Pro.So my screen is already quite scratched. *I know I know* "you should have got a screen protector...". Nah, I don't like them, and to be honest I can look past the scratches. The point was that compared to my 6 Pro which took a good few months before any blemishes appeared, this one seems to be more prone to scratching. It's not a big deal really, doesn't bother me, just like a scratch on my car, I can ignore it. This is more of an observation, the screen seems less resilient to me. My behaviours have been no different to normal.
