Google Pixel 9 Series (9/9 Pro/9 Pro XL/9 Pro Fold & Pixel Watch 3)

So further to the above. Google been dropping the emails telling me the BF deals were coming, so I decided to wait for the deals to drop.
The deal goes live today and I get the email telling me, so I log on to buy a Pixel 9 Pro XL and p/x my Fold 4....in 2 weeks its gone from £685 p/x offer to £288 p/x.....wtaf no thanks Google go do one.
I traded in my P8P 12 days ago & got £550 for it now they are only offering £319.

Defiantly is a Black Friday :(

Glad I didn't wait.

When you see a good deal that you're happy with... you don't hang about. Even if a better deal comes along.

At the end of the day how are you supposed to know if future deals will be better or worse.

I recently traded in my P7P for P9P XL using PCS - my phone was in good condition, but here were some minor oil stains on my display which i was worried about. It went through smoothly - I got £540 for it. I feel this is very hit or miss for a lot of folks. YMMV

For people who have traded in, what price do you get compared to the estimate?
I'm being offered £500, but if they inspect it and value it under £375 they send it back and I get no money.
Does this happen often?

I can get the 9xl pro for £250 if I get the full £500 trade in, but even if I get £375, it's still a great price for the phone.

I got the full price as quoted by PCS, see above.

Fully agreed, as long as you are happy you got a good deal that's all that matters. Just sold my Pixel 8 Pro 256gb on eBay yesterday for £385, they're on the Google store for £499. That would have hit the second value

Yeah you are correct, my main concern was PCS if I'm honest as some of the horror stories on places like trust pilot were concerning but after I'd got over that hump I was pretty decided.
Then a couple of weeks ago Google started spamming the BF deals incoming mail so stupidly decided I'd hang for those and thats where I've gone wrong.

Whos got the pixel watch 3? Are you happy with it? I was tempted to get one for basic notifications etc. I dont really do running but may wear it to the gym.

My galaxy active 2 screen has now died after about 5 years!

A Pixel watch 2 will cover that base easily. I use pixel W1 for the same thing.

Ah I just figure the newer one is better for battery? I think I'd like the smaller bezel one. Dont mind buying the better one now and making it last. I might see what offers black Friday throws as I've got the 90 quid Google credit.

Anyone using a Pixel phone ( about to buy a 9Pro ) with a Samsung Galaxy Watch ?Any real issues ?
I used one with my p8p you miss out on a couple of galaxy phone only features like blood pressure and one or two others I forget. Apparently you can side load the apps and get it to work but I never bothered.

Other than that no issues

Like Tom says, you miss a couple of the extra sensory features, but I've got a Galaxy Watch 6 with the P9P and it works seamlessly.

Likewise I never got round to side loading the apps to get full functionality as it's niche features which I'd rather use a dedicated device for.

Just bought a Pixel Watch 3 on the black Friday sales since I'm an idiot and left my Fitbit at Airport Security lol.

Actually a really decent improvement and being able to see my cameras from it when the notifications come through is massive compared to the Fitbit

As in it goes too dark? Yes, a couple of times I've manually increased the volume. I'm feel like I remember hearing years ago that it would get to know what you like and adjust in time, or did I imagine that?

I've read that before and it does seem to be my experience that it learns eventually.
