Google Lens has a way to go, but I can see what they're trying to achieve with it. Very clever, especially the channel 5 one:

What I found interesting is that it has highlighted the website address in a rectangle, so it can decipher text in image.

Anyone noticed a change in their google weather notification?
Mine says 49 degree which I am guessing is in Fahrenheit.
Checked the weather settings and I have it on Celsius :confused:

Opening Google App and it displays the correct unit and temp.
Only the notification is on Fahrenheit which I find weird.
It was showing in Celsius before.

Yeah, been getting that too. I guess it's a bug as I keep getting emergency weather notations too... For weather which is completely fine.

I'm not getting any such problem, but then again I don't get weather notifications. The Pixel 2-esque weather widget is working perfectly for me.

I'm considering getting the dbrand grip when it comes out, does anyone use anything similar at the moment that I could have a look at? Once I've got my screen repaired I'll be looking to keep it that way!

My issue suddenly got fixed. No clue how. Possibly an update with Google Apps or something.

I had a weather issue too, would show up every 30 mins or so. Hasn't done it today.

I'm still on the October 05 update and I'm in the beta, running 8.1.0

You can force the update by clearing google services framework cache but some people are saying it's broken syncing on gmail.

The November update has done something to both my Pixel and Nexus: website addresses etc no longer auto complete. I just get the dropdown list of previous addresses. Annoying as I'm used to typing "fo" then enter to get to these forums for example, but instead I now end up googling "fo".

I think you'll struggle. I got mine from CPW for £399 but I had to order online as no local stores had them.

CeX is probably the best bet. 2 year warranty is pretty nice to have.

The pixel XL I have now was from cex, bought a Unlocked A Class Model (mint). Really happy with it and had very very minimal scuff.

Just received 8.1 OTA update. So far so good. Really like the darker theme. Although the 4g symbol seems to have changed to just H. Anyone else the same?
