GoPro 3


First video from the GoPro Hero3 Black Edition. I haven't done any editing. I'm really impressed with the audio quality, I remember doing something similar to this with my Hero 1 and it was just full of wind noise!!!
 
Got a bit excited about the arrival of my Hero3 Black.

Just knocked together a pole mount for my upcoming snowboarding trip. Had all the bits lying around as scrap.

Here it is sporting my ContourHD 1080p.

Evan's Cycles are showing in stock now; annoyingly I ordered the Black Motorsport edition which is now showing as out of stock until 16th January. I've just emailed to see if I can changed my order to the normal Black Edition and retain my promo discount. Fingers crossed.
 
Hmm interesting SS... my order shows as Successfull but I'm not sure what it said before today and shortly after it was ordered :(

On my order it still shows as Stock due in 20/12/2012 though...
 
I've just spoken to someone and he changed my order and said I should have it by the end of the week. He was very surprised to see that they had them in stock so early :D
 
Just had confirmation from Evans via email that orders are going out today and tomorrow and a despatch email will be sent out when your order is despatched.

Successful on the Order screen means the order has gone through the security process and is in the system, if anyone was wondering :)
 
Well I have had a TNT dispatch from CVP but not sure its my GoPro or Sony Batteries!

Argh and now they are showing Jan for delivery!
 
Interesting that Evans seem to have them before anywhere else. I wonder if its perhaps because Madison are the distributors for GoPro in the UK and they are heavily invested in cycling, so Evans is already one of their biggest contracts.
 
Dont know much about these, but which is better out of the hero 3 white or the HD2? More worried about video quality. While wifi controls are nice not a deal breaker for me. Black is out of budget unfortunately :(

Hero 3 White = Hero 1
Hero 3 silver = Hero 2

Hero 2 is better than the white.
