OK thanks - just checking we are on about the same thing though - i am on about the plastic under the monitor not the wider bezel at the bottom built into the screen. so if I look under the monitor along the edge of the screen the plastic looks to bow in the middle.

Admin said the only ETA LG could give on the next batch is "this month".

I'm not sure how long the preorder queue is. It looks like everyone who had pre ordered it prior to the last batch received one but the forum may be a small sample size.

I pre ordered on the 1st Oct so hoping to get one in the next batch.

Great thanks, it's a bit of a come down from the 30" monitor I had before but I'm getting used to it. Nice to see that it automatically scales to 150% in Windows 10. I have a Radeon RX580 and freesync is enabled.

Battlefield 4 runs at 4k 95hz with the graphics options set to Auto and its pretty slick.

Does the 580 not support display port 1.4a for the 144hz setting?

The gtx 980ti im using is only 1.2 so I cant go above 95hz either

Hurry the hell up nvidia I want my card!!! :D

I was checking their product website on my phone and on mobile version it doesn't say the ETA, as soon as i changed to desktop view it showed up. Never trust mobile websites :D BTW how is everyone opinion on that monitor, contrast, brightness,HDR, any g-sync issues...?

I honestly thought it would only be the refresh rate that I would notice coming from my old acer predator XB280HK 4k 60hz gsync panel

I was wrong lol
Its more vibrant. Image seems crisper, colour spectrum is way better, sexy slim bezels, no ips glow, no dead pixels or lightning bugs and its smooth like butter

The hdr is good its a shame its not hdr 1000 but it will do

Gsync is not working due to nvidia knackering up the latest drivers but if you roll back 2 updates it works fine

the ambient lighting is not as good as my corsair ls100 strips but that is literally my only discrepancy but may be improved with a update at some point

Out of 10 id give this a 8.5 well worth the £750 nicker

It would have had a perfect score if it had hdmi 2.1 and more accurate back lighting. Other than that its a bloody good bit of kit and would 100% recommend to anybody looking to move to a 4k display

Now that's what i call good short honest review OG Don Mecca. I hope they will sort the drivers out before i get mine as i want to test that 3080FE to the max.
One more question, how is it performing in dark room?

Really well tbh

I really thought I would notice white around the edges at night but nope the blacks stay black and the whites stay white

I wanted to get mine earlier from Europe as they have them in stock now, but it would be pain to make return if something goes wrong. I guess I'll stick with my pre order for now and hope that will arrive in next few weeks.

Nope not for me but I hear "gsync compatible monitors only work with 1000 series gpus and above lol i temporary using a 980ti until my 3080 gets here

Anybody with 1000 or 2000 or 3000 series card know if its working again now?
