** GORGEOUS NEW LG 4K MONITOR - LG 27GN950-B PRE-ORDER NOW **

The first batch came into stock on a Thursday and were delivered to most on the following Saturday, so I wouldn’t hold your breath for delivery tomorrow but you should have them on Saturday without having to pay extra for Saturday delivery.

I’ve been lucky (or DPD have nothing else to do in my area), mine turned up not long after 9:30.

This is what @NikTheSHNIK from ocUK headquarters had to say earlier in this thread...

“If you've pre-ordered and don't receive yours tomorrow, from what I understand the schedule to be, you should receive yours by the end of next week at the latest!”

I have tried Battlefield 4 and the windows desktop at 1440p both were fine, windows desktop didn’t need any scaling. So in essence at 1440p it’s as good as a native 1440p monitor.
i find this hard to believe ... I know 27" 4k is really sharp but non native resolution will never look as good

Mine arrived today and yes she is a beauty. Had to turn the contrast and brightness down a tad as it is extremely vivid compared to my last 1080p screen. The colours are fantastic though and 4k video on youtube looks amazing. Unfortunately stuck on an aging 970 so can only do 60hz and low frames but based just on the screen im really happy.

i have tried with DSC on/off
Adaptive sync on/off
even tried a new cable
(DisplayPort 1.4 Cable 1M, iVANKY 8K DP Cable, High Speed [8K@60hz, 4K@144hz, 2K@165hz, HDR] DisplayPort to DisplayPort Cable, Nylon Braided & Gold-Plated, Compatible Laptop, PC, Gaming Monitor, TV)

aparently the 980ti can do 1440 @ 120/144hz but for me its not working!

id rather drop to 1440 @ 120/144hz untill my 3080 turns up (due sometime this millennia lol)

Sadly my delivery has a major fault! :(((( Had to contact OC to collect it again on monday. The entire right hand side is flickering like crazy - maybe 1/5 to 1/3 of the screen - looks like a dimming zone is faulty absolutely gutted! The rest of the screen is flickering too.
Hopefully with being an RMA I can get a monitor next week with the new batch......
