Hey Dom,
Ive got a faulty evga 480gtx here (code 47 - cannot start device) in my system. Havent got around to removing it and testing it another system etc yet as im damn lazy and can just turn off the PCI-E port on my mobo.
If I sent it in for RMA, what card am I likely to get back? It obviously wont be another 480, which means I can't put it back in my TRI-SLI, but I could probably use it in my front room PC (currently has a 470 in it).
Just curious what sort of thing to expect to know if its worth the effort![]()
Hi, whats the cheapest way of sending 2 gtx 780s back to EVGA from UK?
I have been quoted £98! with insurance.
There must be a cheaper way?
Hey Dom, my 580 SC (part ref ending is AR) and it should be under a Limited Lifetime warranty which I believe to be 3 years? Trying to find the invoice now but would it still be under warranty / what is the oldest I could have bought it and it's still covered?
Also being UK based how long would I be looking at RMA turn around at if still in warranty? I play for Team UK BF4 8vs8 team and we have a few hard games that I'm needed for over the next couple of weeks :S
Well, the other two are asus cards, the third one was bought on an EoL sale. So I wouldn't expect you to replace all of them
but, the fact that you have said that you would even consider replacing all three cards for one being faulty, means that you have just won me over as a future customer for all my gpu needs.
Hi, most of our customer report parcel monkey is the cheapest. Also most of the Royal Mail parcels I see in our office are arround 15pounds
