**GOT AN EVGA GRAPHICS RELATED QUESTION OR NEED SUPPORT - ASK HERE!!**

I was going to step up to a normal ref 780Ti, from my newly bought 780 Super Clocked (Still have 82 days left)but after seeing how much I would have to pay tbh it's not worth it. Nearly a 150 euro for a very small jump in performance isn't worth it. Think I'll keep my 780 SC's in SLI and be happy.

EVGA GTX 780 6GB

Hi Dominik, any news on release dates for the 780 6Gb version in the UK? If we bought several 3Gb 780s now would we be able to step up to the 6Gb version later on?

Hi guys

I have just been notified on my shipping schedule to expect the first limited stocks of GTX780 6GB cards from EVGA into the UK on around May 14th +/- 3 days.

I can give you this date with some confidence now as it is a confirmed date for shipping. The quantity however is limited but of course OCUK will be one of our UK launch partners as long as Gibbo takes stock. Price still to be confirmed.

Thanks
Ben

Hey

Will there be a reference style cooler 6gb gtx 780? Or will they all be your custom cooler?

I would expect to bring both models to market eventually but it appears the first stock which is coming is with our ACX Cooling. Model - 06G-P4-3787-KR which will come with factory OC and ACX Cooling.

As I said I expect other models to follow but no dates on these yet.

Thanks
Ben

I received the thermal pads for my 780 thanks but it still runs hot and down clocks below stock clocks. This one is being returned to the retailer.

New 780 delivered today and it's even worse. It has horrendous coil whine when running anything. Turn V-sync off and it literally howls and it also has no thermal pads between the memory and V-ram.

No idea what is going on at the EVGA factory but these B1 780's are useless. That's two cards now that have similar faults.

Not best pleased tbh. I think I will hunt down an original Nvidia built card as my last 780 was faultless.

My 3rd replacement arrived from the Rainforest today after I complained and said I was not happy with having to wait on delivery's and returns and my wasted time. I received a %15 refund on the cost of the 780 and this arrived this morning.

Needless to say I'm very happy. It's an Nvidia built card and comes complete with thermal pads and runs perfect.

Happy days....:)

Why would they send you a ti? did you request it?

Hello @EVGAdominik

I today received my first EVGA graphics card, the 780 ti SC ACX cooler edition. Setup perfect. However.

When the fan speed hits around the 40% mark, which can be seen in PrecisionX this nasty whine and rattling comes from the card.

The temperatures/performance is perfect but this noise is incredibly frustrating. I've tried leaving Unigine Valley running for an hour (as I wondered whether it would be a wear-in that would go away) but this doesn't appear to be the case.

Has anyone experienced this before or have any possible solutions? I chose this product over a botched Gigabyte GTX 780Ti GHZ edition that was falling over at max clock speed! I think my luck is well and truly running out.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the link Moogleys.

I'm ok building my system but I'm not one for starting to separate my brand new card at this stage. It starts at 40% fan speed and does it until around 45% then quietens down.

Then it'll rattle as it slows down too (ending a game). It just doesn't sound solid.

It does seem to be the cooler rattling from reading a few posts on the EVGA forum. Tbh I would have it replaced if it's that bad.

My 780Ti has horrendous coil whine and runs hotter than hell. Not sure what Nvidia have done with these new B1 chips but so far they have been fairly crappy for me. All my older 780's were perfect.

Dare I say it but I'm missing my 290 at the moment.

Nvidia really just supplies the gpu etc doesnt it? coils etc are the board partners bit?

I think the card I have is made by Nvidia as it has the Nvidia logo by the PCI-e slot. The ones made by EVGA have EVGA instead of Nvidia.

I think that's how it works but not sure.
