As it's only 1 pixel (that I can see anyway) I might either just try to ignore it, sell it, or return it under the DSR and get another once they sort out the manufacturing issues.
TBH, I haven't used it much as I spend the most time with the Rift at the moment.

It is a shame...I'm more annoyed.about the camera. Works only in hangouts...which makes me think it is software related. Might try steamvr beta and see.if that fixes it.

Clearly the camera works. So must be software right?

OK camera now working after a reinstall.

Pixel issue is OK. But worse that I thought. There is at least 3 that are semi bright green. And a few others that are just drifted than dull.

If I look for them I can see them. They are annoyingly quite central.

Tbh I'll wait to see how other fair on the RMA, so many people commenting on it that I guess its likely to get replaced with similar issues.

Left eye is fine, right eye I could count probably 7 hot green pixels of varying brightness.

It could be a calibration thing regarding the mura

My brothers having the same Usb resource issue he has the x99 rog board which has usb2.0 ports
Mines the Asus x99 deluxe and has no usb2.0

Followed steam support advice and ordered a usb 3 pci card hopefully that will work

Everything is fine as long as I only have the headset and mouse An keyboard but screws up if I plug in a controller, hotas or my wireless headset dongle ... Tends to be a lottery of which will fail first

No issues at all here, now on third day and feel safe to say.

Well, steamVR does have issues but hardware is peachy.

This is all on USB 3.0 and 5m extensions to the living room.

I've started the return process. Spent 30mins doing a chat. They wanted to remote diagnose for dead pixels. I said no. They said we will RMA. They sent me an email which asks me to send it in under my own steam. Another quick chat and they say I'll be contacted for collection.

No rush on hols in a couple of weeks anyway. If I can get it collected just before I leave it will be back when I come home hopefully.

Not in any rush, if I don't look for them I don't see them. But when I do.they stand out too much.

One of the controllers definitely feels dodgy. It's fine most of the time but every now and then, it just floats away and disappears. Like playing audioshield, my right shield will usually float away form me towards the end of every song.

Updated firmware, re-paired controllers, not sure what else to try? One controller is fine, the other is not. SO do not want to send it back though, I need it!

Had my Vive a month now and couple of weeks ago found 2 black pixels, one on each screen. Left eye is right near the bottom so not really an issue and if it was just that one wouldn't worry, but the right hand side is at the bottom of the sweet spot.

Only shows on white or bright backgrounds and even then it hard to see sometimes, but other times it kinda just pops into your view while your playing and my instant reaction is to look at it directly and puts you off a little.

I'm still deciding whether to RMA as from what I hear it seems to be a bit of a hassle and lottery on what you get in the end.

One idea is to wait a couple of months when the pre-orders calm down and their RMA process hopefully be better by then..

fyi, still loving the crap out of it, still using it nearly everyday and have no regrets on the purchase.. :)

When I first set mine up I sometimes had a problem on audio shield with the left shield losing position when playing on the higher difficulty (it'd just move to the left of where it should be, or move too close to me).
I had the lighthouses sitting at desk height at the time, and after balancing them on some things to make them higher, it seems to be working a lot more smoothly.

My stands have just arrived, so i'll try to get them set up properly later and see how it goes.

I just got my headset back after sending it away for repair for a few "stuck" pixels.

They have sent back the exact same headset with the exact same "stuck" pixels...

I am so bored with HTC now.
