Poll: Got an issue with your Vive?

Mine is getting collected on Friday. I might pop in a note saying screens to be replace or whole unit as there are dead pixels. Altenativiely I'll just cancel my RMA

I have 1 in the left. And many in the right...3 or 4 noticeable and a few that are pretty dim, but not mura.

I just got my headset back after sending it away for repair for a few "stuck" pixels.

They have sent back the exact same headset with the exact same "stuck" pixels...

I am so bored with HTC now.

How long did it take to return?

I'm sending mine off on Friday...

So it arrived yesterday my TNT tracker says. No update of the HTC site still today.

Being returned to me now. No update on what they have done...probably gonna get the same experience as BIG Phil.

If so I'll tweet htcjules and Daniel and see what they say. I want them to ship me a new one with a deposit taken for the old one if they have had the cheek to simply return the exact same.one I've sent them with no repair. Especially since they approved the RMA for suck green pixels!

Tested replacement vive.

Looks good. Except there is something on the right lens. Made a bit of glue. An area maybe 3 pixels are slightly darker. Fairly central down to the right. It seems to be more noticeable or pale dull areas.
Tbh it seems much better than the first one so I'm going to stick with it. Those bright green pixels were really annoying.

Also got a free headstrap and cables due to them sending a complete headset.
