Got knocked off my motorbike today!

Bad times mate aslong as youre ok!!

Frame damage could well see it wrote off but since its new who knows.

It's never open & shut till it's confirmed by her insurance company, till then there's wriggle room, ie, she only admitted liability cos she was upset, she was in shock, she was intimidated by your presence because you where going off on one yadda yadda yadda...

You only need to do the briefest of searches in motors to see some of the horror stories, of supposedly clear cut prangs turning into nightmares because the other driver changed there story & fought the claim.
 
Pics look fairly good at showing side swipe. Did police come out? If they take a statement leaves insurance very little wiggle room! If youve a recording then even better lol

Glad you're Ok mate. :) You can spend the next 6 weeks or so planning what you're gonna buy next as I reckon there'll write that off.
My Blind **** admitted liability at the scene & I was payed out within 7 weeks. :cool:

Re-Liability

Its not for her to decide liability its the insurance's liability not her's she can only admit liability if she's not insured. She can't act on the insurance's behalf.

I had a car door open on me a few years back he was very apologetic at the time. The insurance settled 50:50 as afterwards he said his door was already open and I hit him. Even though the damage only started 3/4 of the way down my car.
 
Ouch, glad you are ok though, the next few days will hurt :D

I know we should have more trust in the police but I am not sure I would have handed over the SD card so quick, not for anything incriminating on it but in case it goes missing and the insurance company start playing silly buggers, id have wanted to duplicate it then send one to the police and one to insurance company.

Is that damage to the frame or just scuffing?? what managed to get behind the crash bung? her mirror or something?

What an IDIOT, clear as anything, middle of the road, not speeding, plenty of time to see you, some people should not be allowed vehicles!

*You are also bloody lucky you are not seriously hurt, specially where it looks like her bonnet should have driven into your leg, what protection were you wearing??

People make mistakes @above however I agree it was a pretty stupid mistake, atleast they admitted fault and didn't drive off.
 
You had barely a second to react and no room to achieve much to get out of the way or brake sufficiently. The sun is on the right so not in their eyes so she had a clear view. 100% their fault.

Shocking.
 
Damn work and not being able to view YouTube vids, have to watch when I get home.
