I've got a room up right now, switched the weapons round and replaced some of the ones we never seem to use. Just need people to test it out
 
Good games. For some reason when you tried inviting me at around 00:10 it just kept saying 'connection lost'. Ah well, Merry Xmas :)
 
Have they fixed the friends list thing? I clicked on da mic who was playing online and for the first time ever it said joinable and 'join session in progress'

Im really suprised that people play this online as much as they do, any server ive played on just has people exploiting that grenade tag crap and it just gets frustrating. The chainsaws equally bugged with its ability to suck people into the attack who aren't even in range or even if you;re not facing them.

This video just makes me wonder how something so obviously cheap got past testing.

Who are you playing with then? :confused: I do it all the time :p If I have grenades your getting tagged if you come within my range.

There is the occasional good server but most people just seem to want to rack up loads of kills and of course have to resort to the saddest trick in the book to get them. Ive not bothered with the multi for about 4 weeks now, i consider it broken as the ratio of people who exploit this is astronomically high compared to those who dont, hope epic get their thumbs out and get it fixed. :(
 
Can't really call grenade tagging a bug as such, although the range at which it is effective from is certainly an issue and all going well you shouldn't let players get that close to you!

If you want real bugs just go read the last few posts of mine in this thread :)
 
The only tagger in our merry band is Alrik but to be fair he doesn't use it because he can't kill with anything else. He can almost as easily wipe you out with torque bow or sniper rifle. He uses it when he has to or when its a good time too. Not all the time.

I dont mind getting tagged by I do agree what that distance needs trimming down. I've never seen that chainsaw one though and never managed to pull it off against anyone else. You would have to get extremely lucky to pull it off because anyone revving up from there is gonna get pumped with lancer fire.

Its easy to show that in a demo where the other person isnt trying to evade. Ive played hundreds of online games and not once have I heard anyone complain about the chainsaw.
 
Wel the other thing about the chainsaw is when you are chainsawing someone you can't be killed untill the animation plays out. ive seen people doing the chainsaw get a grenade dropped at their feet\shotgunned several times from point blank and they survived it because the animation wasn't yet complete
