yea i messed up fuel aswell and needed an extra stop or i would have been 7th.

btw i found out
concentration experience and stamina are the importaint stats

160+ for concentration pref over 200
experience over 30
not sure about stamina but im guessing around 150

talents not that importaint but you cant train it so try to get around 140
 
Sweet, I'm hopping next season goes better. I'm going all out for decent driver. Make like 5mill a race when you start. So if I have to pay a driver an extra 500k a race, it's not a big deal.
 
Bah finished 14th, had planned to go long but rain ruined that... Despite trying to be as careful as i can i've ended up in the negative with my money.

Still not very close to securing any sponsors either.
 
Heh, can't be as bad as my race. I was one stopping, but somehow monumentally cocked up my fuel calculation and pitted 11 times by the end... still didn't come last.
 
Turns out goin super soft worked out good as they wore out just as it rained so I was straight in for wets :)

Unfortunatly I left my 3rd stop fuel at 50 and it was 3 laps not enough :/. Ws in 7th till then but got 12th
 
i managed 8th place on med tyres 2 stops
at the end
fuel left:
~6%
Tyres condition:
~9%
timed just right :D

1min29 sec behind the leader though
 
I did softs(also two stopper) and each stint was one lap to long, fuel ran out before tyres. Lossing 10secs on last lap of each stint. He also went off the track in qualifying and qualified 22nd.
Despite this came 7th and scored first points.

So should have three stopped and carried less fuel or gone medium.

At end tyres 4%, fuel 1%

Well, I couldn't have perfected the strategy much better on that race.
Started with 90 litres, 2 stopping with softs.
Stop 1
(Lap 19) No more fuel was left 3% 1% 90 litres
Stop 2
(Lap 37) The tyres could not do any more laps 5% 3% 90 litres
Finished with 2% tyres and 1 litre.

Unfortunately a loss of 6 places off the grid and an engine problem from lap 39 on a new engine completely scuppered the race..
 
well doing two stop on medium tyres 80L fuel each stint. I hope that's enough. Probably should have added a margin and gone ~85L.
Qualified 13th not to shabby, high fuel slow tyres.
Some of the car is getting old and no money to replace.
 
Didn't do well, not enough fuel and car issues.

Car problem from lap 50.
11th place lap 59, pitted lap 60. Under up 19th

So really should have been in points, oh well more data for next season.
 
Messed up the tyre/fuel balance too, ended up with an extra stop than I had planned... Ended up finishing 7th which I really chuffed with, still wasn't quite enough to drag me totally out of debt but hopefully if I can get another decent finish next time it will.
 
Well, away again. So no data.

Went one stop hard tires 135kilo fuel.

Didn't change Roberts for first 6 laps :(, also to much fuel first stint finished 3% tyres no fuel, ended race with 51kilos of fuel left. Still got 1point, so that's a whopping 3points this season. should have got a couple of more points that race.
 
Well after the end of my first full season finished up in 12th place with 17 points, which I am pretty happy with.

Had a run of 4-5 races after getting myself into debt racing with an already broken car just for the entry/qually money but managed to get myself back in the positive in time to fully fix my car and finish with 2 points finishes in the last 3 races :D
 
I'm looking forward to the new season. Anyone have any tips for qualifying though, I don't think my driver had the raw talent necessary for front row performances, but my qualifying was never great. I always get him to satisfied with the car quickly and then try to tweak from there for weather conditions etc..
 
So how did everyone do.

Was on course for 4th in first race, but miss judged fuel by 2 laps :(, putting me to 10th :(

Think i should change my colour scheme to mclaren, thats who im emulating. seem to have driver. I keep screwing up.

ARRGGGGGGGGHHHH. i refreshed page and it switched tyres back to extra soft :(. I wanted to qaulify on rain and select medium tyres. ultimate fail. Qualified 17th :(
 
Woop! Second place. Don't think I could have had pole, I made two places up as someone managed to sneak in front of me pre race. We must have had very similar strategies as I only got ahead of him once.

I'm still off the pace though, their fastest laps were almost a second up on mine. My average pace was good though.
 
Nice going indeed, managed to go from 17th to 7, so not to bad and one vital point. was 6th, till the rain came two laps from the end and got beaten in pit stop.

Qaulified 2nd atm but only half the people have qualified. Felling confident with this race though.

Done a nice spredsheet, got
lap times for each tyre
worked out seconds per litre for fuel for pits
Done a line graph for tyre ware vs temp and so on

So even though I don't have actual data for this track, think I'm in good standing, last pit stop added an extra 6kilos of fuel, just in case its slightly higher than my prediction.
