Gpro

Wahoo came 3rd. Was worried, qualified 24th. But by my calcs 1 stopper was by and far quickest way. Was leading the race for a few laps before my first pit. Well happy. My driver isn't as strong as the front guys, but at last nailed a strategy this season.

I was 8seocnds behind 2nd place, we both 1 stopped, his pit stop was 11 seconds faster. Mines level 20, how has gphe got higher! If I upgrade everything, can I then upgrade even higher in rookie season?

However I do need to rethink my equations. I need to find a way to account for extra fuel in lap times, as at the moment I'm going by practice lap time only. Obviously when you add 140litres it changes the lap time somewhat.

Still getting more and more data.

On sponsors. Which will be quicker, a sponsor with really high negotiation, or one with low?

Edit - bummer. Just did qualifying for Canada. Stupid me forgot to convert stints to pits. I calculated 4 stints, then stupidly forgot to subtract one so ended up with 4 pits and 5 stints. Nothing I can do as tyres won't last that extra bit. So that's ~30secs added to my race time. That's probably 4-6 places judging by gaps so far.

Do you think I'm starting to take this a little to properly

That's just for this race. Conclusion hards, if they last slightly longer than prediction. I've only got one data for Hards. so anyones guess. So if nothing else, get another data point for hards.

Oops just noticed my pit fuel time calculations are wrong, stupi divide rather than times.

Hards now 22seconds slower than extra soft, but faster than soft/medium.

That is crazy! I'm flying by the seat of my pants and just got my first pole from 4th on the grid at New Delhi. Shame I missed a race earlier in the season, but up to 3rd in the standings only 2 points behind second. 1st is bossing it though.

I just kind of guess my way through each race :p

Terrible start to the season so far though, haven't scored a single point yet... Maybe my good fortune last time was beginners luck :(

Well, I'm making a habit of coming 1st now with a rain strategy working wonders at Yas Marina. Not sure, but I think the qualifying weather changed from when I did mine. Anyway, it gave me a wet setup, which was 90% of the race and I started on wets despite it being a dry start, putting my 24th on lap 2 and 2nd on lap 13.

Does anyone have data for Suzuka please? I don't have any race analysis saved for it..

Looking at a dry low temp race but anything would be better than me guessing. That's two races in a row I don't have data for. Managed to scrape 8th from the last despite choosing the wrong tyre.

i just saved all of the past setups for every race i have done
www.snoop1050.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/GPRO.rar

THE FILE IS PASSWORDED TRUST ME FOR THE PASSWORD.
this is to stop non ocuk members getting there hands on the data.

theres about 40 unique tracks in there but some have been raced more than once , im still misisng a lot of tracks but it should be a massive help to anyone in their first/second season.

the pages i saved are these ones

in html form for your reading pleasure ;)

i could have downloaded each one as the excel data but it seems to miss loads of info out :(
it doesnt seme possible to import all the race data into gpro organiser or for the program to download all my pastsetups either which sucks or it would have made it easier for us

Can I get the password for this ?

From what i see it has pretty much all the calculus of the whole system. And yes it would verry much help me. Do you have any other gpro related tools or files ?

And how can i get in touch with the user that posted an archive whit his history tracks. I want to get the password to that archive if possible.

Thank you a lot.
Daniel
