GPU Hardware Survey - What Are You Running and Why?

Resolution : 1920 x 1080
GPU/GPUs : SLI GTX580's
Because : I bought a cheap 580 off a mate 2 years ago and added another recently to keep me going until 980ti time

Resolution : 1920 x 1080
GPU/GPUs : 1 x GTX580
Because : A preference for highest FPS possible on a 120Hz monitor. Upgrade to GPU pending.

Resolution : 1680x1050 will be 1920x1080 by end of the week
GPU/GPUs : 1x 280x
Because : The 280x was the best within budget

Kaf2 980 socs sli
1440p gsync monitor
Because I sent my 970s back and upgraded to the 980s and I am so happy I did . 1 of the 980s has a g10 with an AIO and runs under 50 at full load gpu 2 hit 71 when they are running on 1520 core :D

Resolution: 1440p
GPUs: 7970 GHz x2
Because: Got a second card for £120 from Gibbo :) Maxes out 60fps on most things I play at the settings I use.
Extras: Can't see a reason to upgrade for the cash required. Maybe if I can get a single card that gives 100% increase I may consider it. The real driving factor is necessity...

Resolution: 1080p
GPU: 780(overclocked)
Because: Runs everything i play fine and well im skint to upgrade! Waiting on Pascal.

Resolution: 2560x1440 (120+Hz)
GPU: GTX780
Because: Does what I need (GHZ edition card that clocks to GTX980 stock performance without breaking a sweat).
Extras: Have 4K and 2560x1080 panels in daily use alongside my gaming monitor plus GTX470, GTX675m

1920x1080
280x
Because I use my PC for work I wanted a card that was excellent at opencl as well as decent for gaming. Next upgrade will be a 4k monitor and a graphics card to run it, either red or green - I'm not tribal.

Resolution : 1680x1050
GPU/GPUs : GTX 560 Ti
Because : Keeping family members in homes is not cheap and I simply can't justify any sort of upgrade for a good while yet.

Resolution : 3440x1440
GPU/GPUs : 2x GTX 980 Ti
Because : Max games at my resolution and be able to play horribly optimised, but good games like Assassins Creed. 21:9 blows away anything 16:9.

Resolution : 3440x1440
GPU/GPUs : EVGA SC Titan X
Because : Had a 980 and didn't think it would cope at this resolution. Planning to get another Titan X in a couple of months.

I run a few but the 3 most used rigs are:

1440p and 4k - 2x Titan X - as they coped better than previous cards

1440p - 2x 780 - works fine for most games

1080p - 1x 780 classi - mainly a large TV screen gaming rig

Resolution : 3840 x 2160
GPU/GPUs : 2x EVGA SC Titan X
Because : Need spare horsepower for this resolution

Resolution : 1920x1080 @ 120hz
GPU/GPUs : 2x AMD HD 7950 in crossfire
Because : still does the job in 1080p for lots of games but will be upgrading for to a single faster card in the near future

1920x1200
R9 270
i7 3770
Plays at high detail on everything at the moment - (turning off MSAA) - so no need to upgrade yet. Might be tempted if I upgrade the monitor.
