GPU price hike

Next gen consoles will be a good option for a lot of people, and perhaps if we see PC component sales going down, then prices will go down in turn.

They're having it too good at the moment, with too many people in the market for an upgrade or new build, and so the fleecing is really on a roll. This won't last though, especially if harder economic times are ahead!

Hmmm, I think there's always enough mugs to overpay for niche high-end products, come what may with the economy.

Lol my GPU's now retailing £1149 and out of stock. £159 increase.......

Yup, the usual bouncing around they do in price, even the stock that's already paid for does a dance up and down, seemingly depending on someones mood at ocuk .

In all fairness this is direct from Nvidia's website so im not bashing OCUK

I think I'll only consider going in on this generation unless we either see a £800 2080 ti before the next gen is announced, or the cost of one of the Asus cards drop to the £950-£1000 range before the end of the month. Both are unlikely.

That's accounting for you.

The stock isn't necessarily worth the amount that was paid for it. Sometimes the price is based on the latest purchase. Or the cost of replacement.
