Well, I've only noticed it when I do it. As I'm South African, it's how us South Africans say Yes. Most people think we're being rude when talking to them by saying, ya. :confused:

Yep.

In fact I think quite a lot of people are using that as an excuse.
Also they are quickly editing their posts once someone corrects their spelling or grammar.
