Gran Turismo 7

Played a few hours this morning and really enjoyed my time with it. Went through some cafe missions which I really like, all the B licenses done and the two daily sport online races - some people are crazy bad and some incredibly fast! It's definitely a cross-gen game it doesn't look as nice as I had hoped. I mean it looks good but not omg this is the best thing I've ever seen good. I like how it doesn't throw money at you like GT Sport did - it's going to take a bit more effort to buy some of those Ferraris! All in all really good. Presentation is beautifully done and the haptics are really nicely done. Might need to turn them down a bit though!

I have it a go this morning and it is very much Gran Turismo - a bit clunky and self indulgent. The driving feels alright with limited feedback on what the car is actually doing (on ps4).

The chase camera is still rigidly locked behind the car so you can't see the car shift it's weight around or the rear start to break away by the way car moves around relative to the track and camera (like every other modern racing game). Instead you have to look at how the track moves around in relation to a fixed car, and it's still ******* stupid.

It's very linear at first. I just wanted to take a good car around a track I know to get a feel for it but it's all locked down around a linear progression path.

Disappointed with FF on pad, there is nothing on road surface feel, even kerbs no vibration.
Adjustments in the controller FF menu don't seem to make a lot of difference
Trying B license with the 350Z struggling with gold atm, around 0.06 off.
May dust of the Nacon , see if it helps !

I've played a few hours and am only just getting used to the controls.

I think I played Driveclub using X to accelerate and square to break with the gears on the triggers and I'm now trying to reprogram my brain to accelerate and break with the triggers.

Keeps making me smash into corners when I'm pressing gear down and wondering why the car isn't stopping. :D

Dualsense is amazing to me, I can feel everything, when I put a wheel on the curb, when I start to lose grip etc!
