Man, the mini is just so damn good for an early car. Decorated with wide body, carbon fibre paint job / pennzoil stickers, and a set of Rays. Thing handles like a go kart. Edit. Think it’s like 130hp and 560kg lol.

@Darey this is the response I have got from Game "Hi. Unfortunately we cannot assist with the in-store pre-orders. The store team should have a specific code to type into their till system, which then enables them to print the pre-order bonus codes for customers."

Sounds bleak then. I ordered on PSN as well so that's why mine were waiting on me when I logged in.

If it makes you feel any better the standard edition only awards 100,000 coins anyway and you'll make more than that after a couple of hours of normal play. Most of the early races won't let you use the bonus cars either.

If it was the anniversary edition then I'd be a bit more annoyed.

Just ordered for PS4, hopefully should arrive tomorrow. I was waiting to see what the PS4 versus PS5 differential was and to judge if the previous gen would get something so inferior it was worth waiting until I could justify getting a PS5. I don't get a lot of time to game nowadays so a new console is a big investment versus other priorities. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see that it should run great too on my PS4 Pro. 60FPS gameplay was pretty important for me. I enjoyed GT3 and GT4 more than 5 and 6 because of this.

Massive fan of the series since the start, these are my favourite games of all time, excited now to get into it. Sunday cup here I come!

Yeah, 400 pi (original) mini challenge sounds like a fun idea

I haven't wide-bodied it, but have it (i think) just under 400 pi and its feels good.
I like how you have to maintain the cars after so many miles etc, but the 4k for a paintjob is a sting

Fresh charged controller this morning, just died a few mins ago !
I thought its battery life wasn't great before, but ramping up those FF settings has really hit it

Got a code after 5 minutes, neither the guy I spoke to or manager knew about it, he had to check and eventually came back with a code which generated a key

I usually do console racing on a chase cam and pc racing in car, but have been using the default in car so far in GT7, its nice but maybe online racing awareness would be better in chase mode ? ...

I'm using the default cockpit view, I've always used chase cam in the past but am enjoying this. May try out the bonnet cam too though
