Edit. Knew the newly added formula 1 car would be insanely priced. Not grinding for 8mil credits. Ugh. Also, has the damage and tyre wear model changed ???

Yeah I hadn’t played for a few days so had a chance last night to have another go. That’s the best I could set, more time across the lap so possibly a 1:45.5 like yourself (didn’t take note of my best optimal time..).

Looking forward to the next one, sick of that circuit now :o

Pretty much any collision with a car/wall etc, depending on your speed, wrecks your car for a certain amount of time. I think they have improved the whole 'if a car is going to hit you then it goes invisible' but the races are still pretty physical. It also means that when you make a mistake and hit a wall for example, that slows you down enough but also the crash damage to add, meaning more people will just leave the race I suspect.

Thanks, i'll give the daily races a go today and see what it's like.

I think i've dropped to the bottom of A/S with all the banger racing, so will probably see better racing when i drop to B/S again.

EDIT: Yeah it's brutal now, brush the wall slightly and get engine damage + wheel damage. I guess they had to do that as the Esports people were wall riding, not much fun on reverse chicane of death track in the daily races.

If we get some proper race tracks next week, i'll give the daily races a go to see if its enjoyable again or not..

Honestly I am finding them fun :)

But what would be great... could we not have a private game setup between us?

Infact why cant we have teh first page with IDs of OCUK folk?

Im really enjoying the challenge laid by CaptainFail on the TT :)

I think there's been a couple not long after the game came out but always seem to have less and less people turn up. I'd be down for another one though :)

I know when I arranged one we had a mix of OCUK and FG but if you're interesting in private racing, we're setting up our winter league which will probably start next month: https://forevergaming.co.uk/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/9783-gt7-winter-fg-league/ It's all a bit of fun and we don't take it too seriously with stewards enquiries and reports etc. more work on gentlemanly ideals of giving places back and for fun :) But the more the merrier if you want to join :)
