Gran Turismo "Sport"

So this is GT7 Prologue, but they aren't calling it Prologue because they know they will get slated if they do and they think we won't notice that it's Prologue if they call it Sport instead?

The disappointment of GT5 made me switch to Forza, and this has done nothing to win me back. This is the first time I won't be buying a PlayStation console for the GT game on it. I'll stick with Forza 7 on PC instead.

Think I'd go with that assessment as well truth told.

Be the first time I'm not going to buy a GT game in day of release or even pre order like I have the others.. I think I'm more angry as I'm a die hard fan of GT games, but even I'm running out of excuses to kid myself into buying into this anymore.

But I do hold out hope..!!

OK Im confused - not seen a single video until that one that didnt feature GT6 type sounds - what is going on as even in the stream it didnt sound like there was a noticeable improvement at all?!?

Assetto Corsa sounds incredible.

Corvette sounds like exactly the same thing with some EQ and big speakers with a lot of bass.

There just isn't enough improvement considering GTS was designed for the PS4 from the ground up.

Very disappointing, I'll be giving it a miss.

they seem to tone it down for gaming as they probably feel it will become annoying when playing, but ask any racing fan if sound is an important factor in the game & all will say yes,& as realistic as possible, remember when F1 cars were made quieter everyone hated it

As Team VVV said, there is no sound bouncing off any direction or multiple echoes and multiple gear sounds.

its not enough to me... still sounds like s***.. the bov sound is better than before but still bad.

why the hell they dont start all over with their sound base..

this game is nothing more than a way to make enough money to make another poor GT later and so on..

really this series is dead. its been killed by assetto , project cars and even forza..

too bad polyphony.. i will buy your game once youll get porsche and koenigsegg and decent sound

I do not understand how a company like Polyphony and all the backing from Sony they still cannot get it as good as these other games. After all they keep pushing the term real life simulator yet the sounds sound horribly digital. As other people said, the games are lifeless.

When it comes to sound. Raceroom and Assetto Corsa tops this hands down!

imo so much more immersive -

And PD don't look as though they've improved the AI at all. Real shame.

Are they not backed by Sony though?

How is it that much smaller outfits are able to produce much better sims?
Not sure how being backed by Sony means anything? TBH my biggest issue is PD is pretty much run like a separate company because it seems to outgrown 'we are a games developer'. PD/GT as a brand within motorsport is kinda a thing...

In other words doesnt Sony throw money at PD to make the best title they can develop?

Even if that isnt the case. PD have been around long enough... Where (apart from the visuals) is the improvement?
