*** Grand Theft Auto IV - In-Game Chat [Spoilers] ***

I don't know why it doesn't actually allow you to date kate, I dated her last week and everytime I ring her she constantly says we've only just been on a date or some other crap, even though around 20 days have passed in the game! I'm definitely letting her die.
 
Just take your time with it. Make sure you have a decent car parked out the front. Some people run out the back and into a speedboat thats apparently back there. But i managed to get passed on my second try just by using cover and taking out the cops along the way.
 
Can someone explain this:

i was in algonquin, i believe! the apartment with the laptop, rather lush?

Anyhow outside parked up in my garage space was a Gold and Black "Hently" Sports, A Jet Black "Hently" Sports, and a Zombie :)

So im driving past the apartment, when i thought whys my lush gold hently sport moving, so i get out to run up to it, and it zooms off, i jump back in my car and chase it trying not to damage it to see an old woman, trying to get the hell out of there! with a passanger!

so i rag her passanger out, knife him to death at which point she makes a run for it! i let her go, and park back up my hently sports (i got it off brucie, i havent seen the colour anywhere else) safe and sound, and slightly scratched :(

i havent had any of my cars stolen in this version of GTA IV, Pensioners!

i made a run for it into the water, and swam my ass off.
 
Sorry if this has already been asked but its a big thread!

If I turn my phone off does it stop the game completly i.e do you stop getting any percentage or does it continue to count if you do vigilate missions etc as its annoying have jacob etc constantly calling!

I think side missions like the Vigilante ones etc. can be continued as normal, it's just things that effect the main storyline that get stopped.

I'm sure I've got achievements whilst sleep mode is on.
 
I've been on 80% for nearly a week and just can't be bothered to do anymore, there is nothing that brings me back to this game. I can't find anything fun to do anymore, in the old ones it seemed like it was hard not to have fun, this one seems that after the main story line there is nothing fun left to do, it was too short and way too easy. Please, has anyone found somehting fun to do, rampaging is just boring now after 3 games, is there anything different to do in GTA 4 that I haven't cottoned on to? I play online a bit but it doesn't seem like a game that is fun online, like there are games like GRAW where I barely played the offline and just played online but this seems focused on offline and the online (the new feature that was supposed to bring it to next gen) is boring, I played SA online on PC and this isn't much different (only major difference is peds, traffic and police online which just adds lag whereas PC can have up to 200 players with some lag).

Well I finshed 3 leaf clover on my second attempt. I was quite glad I wasn't required to outrun the cops on a silly amount of stars for once. I did not spot any armour drops, but spotted around 4 health kits dotted around the place - keep an eye out for those.

So at 45% I gained access to the third island and finished off the vigilante missions there - and boy some of them were hard. Quite a few perps weren't using guns to fend me off in my car...

Still got brucies races to do too.

Do you not have any problems with having 3 vehicles in one parking area then?

Whenever I did it, one would always vanish when I went back to that safehouse.

And they're called Huntley's! :p
