Can't say im not pleased a ruddy student needs to do some coursework in stead of playing the game! :D
 
Just been comparing my 2 copies, PS3 and Xbox. They both have there plus points!

Xbox - Bit smoother/consistent framerate when panning round the car. Seems a bit smoother on edges but this may be down to the connection i am using, VGA on xbox and HDMI on PS3, may put the xbox on hdmi is a sec and see.

PS3 - More people and vehicles on the street. Better draw distance

Not noticed anything graphical to telling them apart though, textures are the same and both look superb!

too many dam gta threads, my head is spinning

was lucky to get two of the last three copies in my local store at lunchtime, said to the clerk that I should buy the third and sell it on ebay, she didn't seem impressed lol Amazed they had any left when I went in, the queue this morning outside was building up (its not one of the bigger chains) but I had to get to work - it was like the secret geek force was coming out lol

which of you sad-o's is gonna put the map up then? :D

anyone know of a super high-res version of the map so I can rasterbate the sucker all over my wall?

I'm not worried about the fuzzy horizons - that's how it is for me in real life :D

Bloke in the shop said it was a 20 minute install for the PS3 version - that gives me some time to feed myself so I can maximise play time before I go out tonight :D

Mum bought me one when i was visiting her in Portugal and I bought the other ;)

I am playing the PS3 one first as i got it last night.

On the point of fuzzy graphics is it something similar to that blur\trails effect some of the other gta games had? Used to be an option to turn that off though.

Haha, that is true, i'm so short sighted I'll probably be able to see further in the game than in real life.
 
One thing i noticed on the game is that Niko's stubble is getting darker!!!

And when i went into an expensive clothes shop the women shouted to me "you need to shave Mr"

Can i shave? i havent seen anything on the map/legend!

But i have seen a screenshot of Niko with a shorter grade of hair... still the same style but shorter!

No, i checked.

It definitely seems a way to get better graphics around the point your at though.

By the sounds of things, everything is going to quick, as in, from the word go you can do the same as you can at the end of the game. :( hardly any surprises ? Unlocks ? Awards ?.



Im more than likely being critical as i want the game so bad!
