Yeah, been using the PS3 more than the 360 really. Half wishing I'd got this on the PS3. Oh well. Having said that, the screenies look awful compared to the 360......
That's a good point. I've been looking at james.miller's posts and Jeez. That's a good point. I've been looking at james.miller's posts and Jeez.

gta4, on the ps3, with a bit of help from my tv's sharpening. now it has better iq than the 360 along with the other benefits:)

Are all the people suffering framerate issues using the PS3? I really haven't had any problems whatsoever with the 360 version, it is a brand new console though.

Some people just don't notice/care but even on a brand new console there are numerous frame rate fluctuations on the 360 version.

Well, i have not witnessed any noticeable slow down of the game at all, even when there are many vehicles and characters moving around in a localised area and most certainly nothing that has caused a problem in the game.

It's the physics that causes it, collisions and deformations.

Well I'd suppose that you are more tolerant than others since the PS3 version is said to have a more solid frame-rate.

It's not so much moments of slowdown that is the problem it's just consistently crappy frame-rate, I've always slated games like Halo/PGR for being only 30fps but GTA4 takes it to a whole new level.

For a game that scores 5/5, 10/10, 99% in virtually every review you would expect near perfection.

I've come to the conclusion that this is false. The 360 has a superior framerate, it just doesn't drop as much, it's really noticeable I've been jumping between the two copies.

Not sure, probably not true but true or not I'm sure a patch will arise sooner rather than later, it needs to anyway.

On another note; I managed to get online finally! It let me into the multiplayer menu and everything (PS3) and didn't even lose the connection as soon as it entered the game - and it was awesome

My only gripe with this game is that you cant aim properly whilst driving, its a right mission to get any accuracy.

So your press LB and the reticle comes up but before you have chance to aim Nico starts firing, wastes shed loads of ammo. It also makes it hard to stop people in car chases such as the ones you can do in the police car. Any tips?
