I was just messing around on one of the computers in tw@ and found a police criminal database. :o

Some of the entries are absolutely brilliant, lol. Especially the prior convictions for Brucie. :D :D
 
21% so far, im getting worried im completing it too fast, most of my colleages have only got to about 10% and are having a go at me because they cant handle anyone else getting this far.
 
tried going around my local area again today went to about 8 shops all completly sold out on 360 some left on the PS3. Sad days :(

However one shop that i wouldnt really associate with games happens to have a new catalogue which has it in and i manged to get a pre-order which i can collect tommro :p so looks like i will have a copy tommro

Did you try the book/stationary shop which also sells some games?

When something has just come out and no one has any copies of anything, they normally have something.

People don't normally think of going there.

yeah i did :( nout in there i tried many obscure shops as well all no luck. Ah well will pick my reserved copy up tommro during my lunch and head home early :D

to make things worse, i've just checked out ign's video review - tis the first i've seen ingame footage. and it looks ******** ace. me wants...... :eek:

i might have to reconsider my plan of waiting for the pc release. :D
 
ChartTrack data shows game is now UK’s fastest-selling title in 24 hour period

Data obtained by MCV from official UK industry monitor ChartTrack shows that Rockstar’s GTA IV has become the fastest selling game ever in a 24 hour period.

The figures – based on EPoS sales data and estimated retail transactions – show that total online and High Street sales for the game hit 609,000 in one day.

That beats the previous record of 501,000 set by another Rockstar title, GTA: San Andreas, on Friday, 29th October, 2004.

Xbox 360 narrowly nudged out PS3 in the ‘battle of the consoles’.

335,000 copies were sold on Microsoft’s machine – 55 per cent of all formats sales. The figure is a new record for the console, beating Halo 3’s first-day sales of 266,000 units on Wednesday, September 26th, 2007.

GTA IV sold 274,000 copies on PS3 yesterday – 45 per cent of all sales and another format record breaking performance.
