yeh there are some bangin tunes on there. there is one i particularly like, but forgot to ZIT it and get the name of it.
they do get better, the first cars you get are awful though.

Yeh i love the new car phisics, i think there great.
Car handling seems okay to me, but then I like driving/rally games anyway.
Motorbike handling seems rather pants though and I've just done a mission where you need to drive a small truck (no spoiler) and the thing had no inertia at all. Ease off the throttle and it just stopped.
It's not clear anywhere whether your driving skills "level up" with time, as they did in SA.
One thing that's starting to irk me is how R* decided just about every mission needs to end in a police chase... In previous GTA's apart from certain missions your ability to gain a wanted rating was largely suspended during scripted missions. So frustrating when you've killed all the bad guys, protected whoever you're escorting only to spend the next five minutes trying to evade the wanted level!
There also seems to be a high proportion of "chase me"/timed missions which I really loathed in previous GTA's.

What do you expect, you break the law in a mission, your going to get the police after you
There aer of course different ways to do most missions, which in turn reflects how easy it is to get away..

I love the car handling, for me it is one of the best improvements, along with the improved physics engine.
When you are chasing someone it is a much more fun and rewarding challenge.

i find chasing a motorbike in a car which is a lot slower a rewarding challenge specially when you hit them off their bike and reverse over them
Has anyone noticed that if you try stealing a car, and they drive off you can hang on to the handle? I did it last night by accident.
I got dragged along until he stopped at the lights, got up and shot him in the face, I love the way they slouch forward and hit the horn

Apparently you can grab on to cars by either holding LB and pressing X or just tapping X repeatedly.
Not tried it myself though.
I got in an argrument with my girlfriend last night, I was playing the game and she was e-mailing but watching me every so often.
I came to the toll booth on the bridge and decided to slow down and pay the 5 bucks but some bugger cut me off with his SUV barge so I get angry, get out of my car, drag him out of his crap car, and shoot him in the face (as you normally do in GTA )
But my girlfriend didn't like it and said that I was way too aggressive and should have my head checked by a shrink, I tried to explain that it is just a game but in the end I just continued

That is a normal thing to do....
I had a similar experience, I tried to carjack someone, but they didn't like the idea so dragged me out of their car and drove of, so I nicked the next car and drove after him, shot his tyres so he crashed, ran after him and shotgun'd him as he ran away
I didn't want his car after that though, some idiot had put bullet holes through it
At the toll, I love pushing people through the barrier, I don't want to wait, but I want to pay the toll, the guy always tells me to have a nice day

ill have a look when i get in, but i nicked one of the heli's from the heli ride place at the beach and flew that around one of the islands i wasnt supposed to go to just yet and got me six stars until i got bored and jumped out at the highest i could go
