*** Grand Theft Auto IV - The Official Thread ***

Not tried to see how long I could last on 6* yet but as I've finished the game (story wise) I will give that a go. Any tactics I should use?

Also has anyone tried to out run the cops on foot on 4 stars yet? I did it, was well intense. I won't say how I did as it might be considered a spoiler, but it took about 10 minutes from gaining 4 stars to getting rid of them. Brilliant fun.

Get in the subway with a car before you have unlocked the different parts of the island and sit down there :)
 
Woohoo, I managed to get a comet again, I now have 2 Banshees 2 Infernuses (sp?), a sentinel and a comet parked up.

BTW you can save cars outside Playboy X's House, before events later on. I kept a spare Infernus there for a while.

What I did was jump onto the subway tracks and run under the tunnel to the 2nd island. The police don't follow you into the tunnel so you can stay there as long as you want. :D

I ran to the next station then had a shoot out with the cops.

In theory you could stay as long as you wanted.

Also just turned on the TV in the safehouse.....

hehe loved it especially CRIBS...... I must show that to my wife then perhaps she'll understand my hatred for MTV! It explains my sentiments much better than I ever could.... :D

Not sure if anyone knew about this, it happened on first day of playing. Was in a car and got a phonecall but a few seconds before the call I got some radio interference. Nice detail.
 
I liked the one that looks like an SLK (forget it's name), but I've only seen one so far and I lost it :( I find it a bit of a pain driving cars back to the safe house if I want to keep them, I generally wait until I've finished a mission then quit because I can't be bothered driving back just so I can exit the game.
