Graphics Card Warranties (UK Only) - Let's see how good they really are!

Sapphire have dropped their warranty period to TWO years, rather than three, for the 9070/XT range.
This means Gigabyte & XFX have the longest support at THREE years.

A pity, as I've always picked the Nitro+ from each generation.

Where did you see that?

I'm sure Gibbo said all cards have a three year warranty and a competitor is advertising three too.

Sapphire's own site - I haven't yet found any retailers that have published their exact warranty period on their 9070XT Nitro product pages.

Happy to be corrected, if not

That's a bit pants.

IIRC they always had two years on the AMD MBA cards but own branded were 3:via your retailer.

I guess we have to hear from OCUK as to what their policy is.

Always found Sapphires to feel solidly built though, so too this 9070, so hopefully the warranty won't be needed. Not that that's the point.

3 years would be best, at least gives you some piece of mind. Most of people will sell the card in 3 years and get a new one, but still - its good to know that it is covered, in case anything happens.
However, one time when I needed to use warranty was in first few months of use, card was a bit faulty and had to be replaced. I dont know if GPUs go bad after few years - does it happen often?
