Graphics Card Warranties (UK Only) - Let's see how good they really are!

Something I updated a few days ago.

I've removed Sparkle from the list, they are now part of TUL Corporation, according to Sparkles website in Mandarin - any RMA's are dealt with through TUL. They only covered two years warranty, I doubt anyone in the UK has their GPU's.

Sparkle made Nvidia cards...

YES! This is the correct answer! I've been slogging it out for weeks on e-Support, I emailed [email protected] and within 3 minutes got a reply! Card has now been sent off - will update when/if it is replaced.

My own fault - I went to: http://uk.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/technical-support.aspx - expecting this to be the correct route - NOPE! just send an email! I can confirm that their technical support, is however, completely useless!
Just spotted this, I'll change the front page so it links to [email protected]

Updated the front page.

UK Palit rep is telling me 2yr, so guess its a regional thing, I shall highlight it as an issue when I fly to Asia in a few weeks whilst drinking beers with them and offering to spend a few million with them to see if they want to make it 3yr in the UK too. :D
I thought with Guru3D the dude who owns it being based in Europe it was for here. Ahh, okay I'll change it back for now. :)
Well you need to removed ASRock from the list as AMD banned ASRock to sell Phantom Gaming X graphics cards in Europe.

Wow  Cheers for the info, I'll take them off the list. H'mm, I wonder if this has something to do with EU branding laws? Gainward have a Phantom series still don't they, I wonder if it's something to do with this? I think I remember Gibbo saying a few year back that GALAX wasn't allowed to use the name in Europe due to Samsung and the Galaxy branding and had to revert to KFA2?

Update today from Gigabyte, I'll update the list. Link >> https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/posts/32093283/
The official GIGABYTE UK RMA turn around time is 14 working days, we often process returns faster than that. It does in some cases take longer if we need to swap the product and we don't have RMA buffer in stock, if that happens we will mail and tell the people that returned it to us.
If any of you have issues I try and help where I can, you can also mail [email protected]

nice post nelly buy what would also be great to add would be whether a company allows transferable warranty or not, if a receipt is required to claim warranty and which will do warranty from the date of manufacture even if you dont have a receipt.....
Hey, thanks for the input. Good idea, I'm still working on it, but will update it soon. :)

Just to backup Inno3D length to process an RMA. See this link >> https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/posts/32107179/
I had the same card but a chip blew on mine, returned to ocuk and they sent back to inno 3d, who took over a month to repair so got a refund and bought a new card, great service from ocuk but not great from inno3d

I'm updating the original post over the next 24 hours. I've already gone through the URL links, updated current ones and removed any dead links.

If anyone has any recent info on their RMA experiences over the last 12 months, good or bad, then please let me know without mentioning any competitors in this thread.

Nvidia direct was actually very good (for a Founders 3070). You have to send it off to Hong Kong which is a bit of a faff with all the stuff you have to print. You also have to take a lot of pictures of serial numbers with other numbers they give you etc (i guess to stop scammers/fraud). However, it was free to send and the turn around from me sending it and receiving a working replacement (which looked new) was about a week (which i thought was very impressive considering how far it had to travel - they use very quick international post there and back clearly).
Thanks for the valuable info, I'm adding Nvidia to the spreadsheet as we speak. Surprised how good Nvidia RMA is, makes the Founders edition cards more appealing, especially when postage is FREE.

I've updated the original post now, needs abit more tweaking, I'll sort it when I'm back later. I've added ASRock and Nvidia. Last time I updated it was 2018, I used to do it at least once a year.

If a moderator sees this, can it be stickied again, as it probally helps a lot of people out. Thanks.

I've still got abit more to do yet, I've changed the web links at the bottom, so they are upto date.

Contact at ASRock will be changing soon.
Added live chat link details for Nvidia, easy to find on their website.
Added e-mail details for PNY.
Changed the details for EVGA RMA, its been Germany for quite a while now, no UK base.
Added e-mail details for Gainward.
KFA2, only details I could find for any address is via their Hong Kong head office, and their UK base in Wales shut down around 2014, I didn't even find a European address.
