The only reason they lost to Arsenal? They had one shot at goal all game which was a penalty, which was offside so should never have even been considered. That's terrible at home, with two strikers on the field

Roffles this i have to agree with...i was a bit surprised but then i have absolutely zero sympathy for him after all the **** he started with Arsenal last season ie Fabregas spitting.

Saying that its a bit of a daft decision to do it with 9 games left..surely wait till the season is over before sacking him....i mean who knows maybe he would have kept them up but now i hope they go down...down....down....down....

I think its harsh to be honest. My friend read in the paper today that Brown wasn't allowed to talk to Chierney (or whoever the youngster is) due to ongoing contract negotiations. This was stipulated by the player's legal representatives? Brown couldn't even tell him he was dropped for the Arsenal game. Crazy.

Whilst I don't like Brown that much, I don't think he deserved the sack.

He's on Gardening Leave, he won't be replaced until the summer. It's Horton for the next 9 games.
