I do like the idea of you telling people they don't get football.

League postitions are handed out based on Points, not goals scored.

Hull might concede a lot of goals, (because they're ****) but they have still gotten more points then Pompy, which to me at least tells me that Pompy are worse then Hull.

Goal difference doesn't show you the state of a team in the league, points do.

But mostly games against Man Utd give us the best indication of the quality of a team

I hope he is there for years. He has the right attitude, seems to deal with players well, won't throw money at a problem even if it is available, gets the best out of players and is an ex-Leeds lad with a proper affinity for the club.

Some stupid people have been calling for his head due to recent results (a run that has seen us lose 2 games in the last 10) but the general feeling around the club is that he's the right man for the job.

When there were rumours that Burnley were after him, he shunned them and said he had a job to do at Leeds. Can't ask for more than that.
