Greatest Goal of all time?

Does anyone know what the song in this vid is called? Seems to have escaped my memory atm :o

Darude - Sandstorm.
Awful piece of pop tat , reminds me of the worst night of my life.

Daveeeed Ginolas finest moment was a goal against Ferencvaros in the UEFA cup for Newcastle.
Took it on his right foot , flicked it round a defender , turned , controlled with his knee and blasted it into the net from 25 yards with his left foot.
Sublime.
The one on this video isnt bad either same for Albert's chip at the end.
Not bad for a centre half.

Thanks you, and one for fun,

David Ginola Vs. Barnsley---- Now u may think it was against barnsley but remember Ginola was approx 45 years old ;) and carrying a whole spurs squad on his back. Now thats talent

Oi!

We weren't 'that' bad, ok we were, he tore through us like a knife through butter. But yes, a good goal. I can remember thinking, get him, get him, get.. damn goal.

Iirc the last time this kind of subject was made into a TV program the John Barnes vs Brazil was voted the best goal ever?

Of course being a Man Yoo fan the 99 European final produced the two best goals ever, and of course the best FA Cup goal, the classis Giggs vs Arsenal.

It means its all the more impressive because he did it on purpose.

Not at all, a goal is magic when it can't be replicated. Whilst there is no doubting they were phenomenal goals, they can no longer be 'magic' as doing it twice would stop that.

Also, just come to me, what about the Di Canio goal from the season before he left (I believe) where he flicked it over the midfielders head and then volleyed home from about 35/40 yards. I believe it was against Chelsea.

In typing Chelsea, what about Zola's against Man Utd where he danced past all of our defenders before sticking it in the near corner. Sheer brilliance.

One that stands out in my mind, on possibly the most sodden pitch ever to grace a football match, was a thunderbolt of a shot, when the ball was buried in slutch, by a man called Ronnie Radford...... it was a pearler :D

The goal that won greatest of all time - including occasion, etc - was Geoff Hurst's "They think it's all over" goal.

For me, it would be one scored by a Brazilian from the right hand side where it looked to be going out for a throw on the far side but at the last moment bent seemingly at 90 degrees to go into the top left corner. I'm guessing late 70s.

Aye , Hereford knocking Newcastle out of the FA cup , before I was born but Im guessing around 71 or 72.

Expect it to be repeated time and time again this weekend as the BBC have the Newcastle V Cheltenham game on live on saturday.

a few weeks back a hereford fan from the game rang up the 3 legends and told supermac a load of jokes, he said thats the first time ive been able to laugh about that game :)

1981 FA Cup Final Replay : Spurs -v- Man City

Rikky Villa - Second goaland the Winner for Spurs!! Sizzling solo run from the midfield had me and mostly everyone on their feet! Amazing and the best imo! Never forget it!!

1981 FA Cup Final Replay : Spurs -v- Man City

Mackenzie - Same Game but somewhat overshadowed by the above effort by Villa. Citys Equaliser was a supreb volley which drew the game level.

1996 Euro Champ. : England -v- Scotland.

Paul Gascoigne - Supreb flick over hendry (?? iirc) back of the net - lovely and sweet.. Remember running through the garden falling into my pond!! LOL

It's a really tough decision to have to make... but I'm going to have to go with the one yard tap in I scored the other weekend.

The skill and precision needed was just awe-inspiring.
