How didn't he see it when Ronaldo decided he'd take extended leave, tell everyone he wanted out then picks himself for a pre season game. Which other manager lets someone do that? Klopp would have him training with the kids, he'd be nowhere near the team never mind starting.

No leadership on the pitch at all. No one there to give players a bollocking when needed.

It's a horrible time to support United but there is nothing else to do at the moment, other than allow the manager sometime to work his tactics/buy the players he wants.

Far too many mediocre players in the squad, no real quality there, and at the moment - the players don't seem to have any passion/urgency for the game.

No real quality there, the centre back pairing today cost 150 million!!!!!!

Price doesnt mean anything when it comes to quality.

Matip, Konate and Gomez combined didnt cost what Martinez did and they can all change a light bulb without needing a step ladder. The amount of money wasted is unbelievable...just appalling really.
 
It's strange people are so hung up on Martinez's height. I mean of course it's not ideal in some situations but it's not like you can't possibly succeed without being much taller.

I wish a single centre back was our only problem.

That was kinda my point, the state of their transfers is incredible. The money blown and the transfer strategy is abysmal.

Baily, Martinez, Maguire, Shaw, Dalot, Malacia, Telles, Varane. How much has that defence cost for championship standard defending?
