Greenlizard0 PL & Championship Football Thread ** spoilers ** [12th - 15th August 2022]

You put £100 on them and made £140? They were 3/1, what am I missing here :p
No the bet was worth £100 by itself (also had a non acca bet for Forest to win , which was worth 38.50 , making the total for the Forest win £138.50)

But the best thing is, I just cashed out my acca of Chelsea to win today , which was worth £70 on cashout..on the offchance that Spurs would equalise late and I'd then also get the Chelsea to draw bet come in. Which it now has, so I got £70 for Chelsea to win and £125 for Chelsea to draw. Which brings my total winnings for today to roughly £340 :)

Yet Chelsea didnt create a whole lot. Spurs created twice an many "big chances".
I’m not sure what counts towards big chances, does it not include shots off target? Chelsea had a lot of chances to score which were put wide and they should really have done much better. These wasted chances don’t count towards xG but clearly showed that Chelsea were dominating and should have don’t better.

That is why xG is so flawed and cant be used as a yard stick

of course xG includes shots missed. Chelsea's xG was slightly higher than Spurs so not sure what omnom is talking about.
