Oh dear me Rashford
I wasn't massively excited when we were top. We were there because other teams were underperforming massively. City have come back into form and now we are at best 11 points behind them. Ole hasn't convinced me at any point in his tenure. At best he has done well at times and at worst he has barely got the minimum expected of any manager considering the players we have.
He still isn't a manager that would have any top 10 club in the league snapping him up if he was a free agent. He still isn't going to take us to anything apart from the occasional cup and even then I would be surprised.
Effort and commitment would be a start. A plan b would be another. Our passing is dire at times. What are the coaches doing at trainingI am not sure what you want? We are in and around the best of the rest. Liverpool over achieved because of a fantastic manager. City are just on a different level and will alway be with the money they have. 3 leagues in 4 years. 5 wins in the past ten.
Yes we have spent but still not at Cities level and most of our big signings have gone on to pastures new.

This is my feelings and view as well if we get top 4 he will be here for atleast another seasonI want a better manager. It doesn't matter if City are on another level, you play them twice a season. Their quality is a bit of an irrelevance to how we are progressing and playing and I don't think we are playing well and I don't think we are progressing.
There is a reason the best teams in the world have the best managers. If they weren't vital then the top ones wouldn't be so in demand or consistently do well wherever they go.
I think if we still have Ole as our manager in 2 years time we will be in a similar position to now where we are largely reliant on the other top teams in the league to be having awful seasons to make us look OK.
Liverpool, Spurs, Arsenal & Chelsea are all having really poor seasons which is making our own shortfalls far less obvious.
I don't see progress under Ole other than by signing better players. Thats not being a good manager.

Kane. Again. When is he going to get punished? That's a red card.
And who's responsible for the way we play. The manager. What is our plan b? When we play at a faster tempo we are a much better side but no we take 3 or 4 touches carry the ball 10 yards giving the opposition time to set up then pass 5 yards or sidewards that's if our pass even makes itIt is not that. We are so lethal on the counter teams just pack the back line because we can't break them down which has been the case for a long time but we lack that CDM to play a more attacking game.
It is of no surprise that we have faired well against City and Leeds because they want to play football. It is also of no surprise the amount of draws we have had because teams quite rightly so play the way that gives them the most chance of points.
Thought that when I saw the replay earlier, surprised there was no mention of VAR, crazy.https://twitter.com/Biggies_MaIIs/status/1371171998265655296?s=19
