Liverpool will finish top 6. No matter how poor their midfield they will score plenty of goals. TAA and Robertson still provide them with plenty of ammo.

The sharp drop off is my concern, I get the midfielder players are older, long season last season too however to drop so much is bizarre.

You cannot keep up with City by having half the players. City just continue on and a bad season for them is second place. Not playing in the Champions League will be a blessing in disguise for Liverpool. Premier League is the comp to be in these days anyway. We tried to keep up with their spending and our pockets are threadbare now!

I just hope for both Liverpool and United's sake we get bought by a country so we are all on a even playing field.

Safe to say this experimental midfield shape isn't working. I still can't work out if it's a diamond with Hendo and Ox either side of Fab or whether Hendo is meant to be sitting alongside Fab but either way, we're still wide open defensively and we're not getting Thiago on the ball at all in this advanced position.

Same. While we’ve come a long way from where we were, I don’t think utd are a threat to arsenal - at least not yet anyway. I know if I was an arsenal fan I’d be far more wary of city snapping at their heels, this result has given them the chance to put a nice cushion between themselves and second. Certainly wouldn’t be crying about some weird belief the league was fixed for UTD to win it.

All it's doing is highlighting even more that hendo and fab arent fit enough to play currently, not sure whose had less touches Ox or Thiago.
