Greenlizard0 PL & Championship Football Thread ** spoilers ** [15th - 17th Dec 2020]

Looks like it's probably above 1080p, but it's compressed to hell, the grass is just a solid blocky green.
On the UHD stream, it’s when they zoom it or do slow motion that it just isn’t particularly great and looks pixelated.

This has all the hallmarks of a dreary game.

Too many kids watched moneyball.
I would say John Henry did but he obviously knew all about it prior to the movie coming out. It's not worked out too bad for him and Liverpool using those same principles. It's not just Liverpool either, you have Leicester doing similar stuff and punching above their weight, Brentford too and AZ Alkmaar in Holland who very nearly won the League last season (Billy Beane has a direct involvement there btw). I'm not sure how much they still do but Spurs were very early adopters of this data analysis (they outsourced this and Liverpool stole the guys from the company they used). The Athletic done a piece on this a couple of months ago and they reported that Chelsea and City have built/are building a team of analysts too.
