Greenlizard0 PL & Championship Football Thread ** spoilers ** [15th - 17th Dec 2020]

Because other goals (Salah, Bamford for example) get chalked off after minutes spent with compasses and protractors, whereas that one was just a cursory look and given. Frankly I think today's was done right but it has to be consistent.

Because this one (from the half time replay) looks pretty clear. Clear daylight between the attacker and defender on the line.

The angle and photo they just showed now does show its clearly on.

The angle they showed during the game itself he looked offside.

Which is why I said at the time son looked off

First half we have done everything we could have against spurs who just don't want to play football.

We're playing, defending well and we've even scored a goal too which is the purpose of football right? I mean sure we can play attacking open football but we might be losing by a lot more then. Seriously you expect us to play like that away from home against a pool team that got rollocked after their weekend result against Fulham.

I think they looked dead level from that angle and you've seen that kind of thing in the past take minutes. Compare it to the Mane one which was given offside after a ridiculous amount of deliberation for example.

To be clear, I don't think Son was offside, but the frustration is how inconsistent it's been.

Your playing on the counter, no interest in actually playing fluid football you can do.

I didn't say spurs are wrong for doing it did I? Any side can play how they want but roll reserve it if we did what your doing am sure you find it just as frustrating if your side had all the ball yet go in at half time drawing

We tried that against Liverpool with poch numerous times ...

Thats depends on why you watch football. I used to really enjoy watching Spurs under Poch. These days, not so much. Some fans are only concerned with the result, I am more interested in being entertained.
