I don't think that anyone is claiming that Kanes shouldn't have been a red but that was also a red.

Thats the biggest issue with refs. They just aren't consistent. To be fair, the two incidents were very different so consistency isn't necessarily the right word here but yes, Kane should have seen red. Robertson can't complain that hes seen red for that.

Why play like this? 2-2, considering the beating we've had, is a fantastic result against a refreshed Spurs but Klopp would rather try and win and risk throwing it away. It's headless chicken style management.

As a Newcastle fan I’ve been wanting that all season, for clarity I thought Kane was 100% a red, both weren’t penalty’s for me and robbertsons was also a red

Nothing to do with that I originally suggested, which was for you to be open to decisions against Liverpool without getting all dramatic.

I was thinking the same thing, seems to have the ability to carry the ball forward as well, as be in the right place at the right time.

I guess if he can't play matches he may as well take up music

Not really sure what to take from this game. On the one hand, Kane should have been sent off and theres a strong case for a Liverpool penalty, so I could view it as 2pts dropped. On the other hand, if Spurs could actually finish properly they would have scored 4 or 5 goals, so I could view it as a point gained.

One thing is for certain, our midfield just didnt work at all.
